All the President's Men lost the Academy Award for Best Picture to Rocky at the 49th Academy Awards in 1977. This also includes a field of Best Picture nominees that included Network & Taxi Driver. It’s just one snapshot of how loaded the β€˜70s was with timeless Cinema. Do not ask me to relitigate 1977 Oscar race. I can’t do it. I won’t do it. All four of these films are perfect masterpieces.

So I saw this Friday. I made it almost an hour into it then I had to leave. The claustrophobic feelings were just too much. The score by Joseph Trapenese was good and apt for the film. I do recommend people checking it out. I might give a good review on my blog later.
