Jason Calacanis: I think it's a very easy sweep for the Democrats. “Then I think, if we want to look at what the next two cards are, if you look at impeachment, I think we're going to go right back to Trump being impeached, and then both houses are going to do that. It's going to be absolute chaos. And then the Dems are going to start putting legislation out there and force the Republicans to vote against it in order to scuttle JD Vance's chance. So what's going to happen is it's going to be a chaotic two years. And I think what will come out of that ultimately is we're going to need some new candidates on the Republican side, and they're going to put the Trump era to bed. And then I think that means they put JD Vance and Marco Rubio to bed, and they're going to need a new champion that is more populist and actually executes on the populist agenda, which they feel Trump represented but didn't execute on. That's not my personal belief. That's just my analysis.” Current Polymarket Odds: 73% Chance Dems Sweep

Angie Nixon: You can't allow people to get off the hook and say, "I don't do politics." It's doing you. It's doing you at the gas pump. It's doing you at the grocery store. It's doing you in terms of health care and your college education. It's all political.

If we win tomorrow, here’s what Democrats will do: Get rid of Trump’s tariffs. End this stupid war. Bring down the cost of housing, groceries, and gas. And that’s exactly why Latinos are voting Blue up and down the ticket across the country. – at Tucson, AZ

Politico reports that Black voter turnout is reshaping the midterm elections across the South. Share this if you are Black in the South and want to send a message. Help ensure we don’t get drowned out. We have to ensure that Black political power translate into Black political representation be engaging our people today’s Each of these candidates can win on Tuesday if Black voters show up in big numbers. Georgia: Keisha Lance Bottoms, Governor @keishabottoms South Carolina: Jermaine Johnson, Governor @drjermainejohnson Florida: Angie Nixon, U.S. Senate @angieforfl Mississippi: Scott Colom, U.S. Senate @scott_colom Louisiana: Jamie Davis, U.S. Senate @jamieforlouisiana These races raise a bigger question: Who benefits from the surge in Black voter participation? We cannot trust that other communities will support Black candidates so we have to turnout at a higher number to ensure they win too. Their winning will equal more investment in our communities, which is not happening at the levels it should because we only hold a few of these positions of power. November 3 is Election Day. Know your ballot and make your voice heard. I need you engaging the people in your network. Outvote the racism. Share if you care. 🦾

We have intel that Russia is preparing a new massive attack on our country – primarily targeting energy and logistics. The assumption is basically that tomorrow the world will be watching the American midterms, and what is happening here in Ukraine, along with our difficulties with air defense and Patriot missiles, will be overlooked. We need signals from the world to Russia that will make them feel that terror is no good, that it will bring no gains, and that as long as this war continues, their oil will burn, and they will not be able to make money doing business with the world. We must not play games with Russia’s oil or gas revenues. We must put pressure on Russia in such a way that it has no alternative but to end this war. America can do this.

Democrats are poised to win back the Senate — sending a Methodist pastor, a Presbyterian seminarian, a Muslim doctor, and a Catholic Native American to Washington while reelecting a Jewish Southerner in Georgia. This is America at its best.

Milton Coleman, a pioneering editor at The Washington Post who broke racial barriers and helped shape generations of journalists, has died. He was 79. Coleman was the first Black journalist named to the paper's masthead and rose to become its highest-ranking Black editor. He oversaw the Post's local news coverage, mentored generations of journalists and championed efforts to make newsrooms more representative of the communities they cover.

There’s not enough attention to what’s happening in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Black and Hispanic voters are showing up in record numbers. You have many minority majority precincts that have already surpassed their total 2024 turnout numbers. There’s a blacklash and brownlash against GOP gerrymandering efforts in the South.

Mariah Carey fronts Gucci’s holiday campaign in a film directed by Harmony With “All I Want for Christmas Is You” in play, the 1994 single she co-wrote with Walter Afanasieff. Korine, whose earlier work includes Spring Breakers and Kids, shoots her arrival in a fur coat and GG-logo necklace before she appears in a sequined gown. The setting is a hotel lobby marked November 2. Carey had already dropped her own seasonal short the day before, the one that opens with a nod to her mid-1990s rock project before shifting to Christmas. This Gucci film is the first major celebrity face on the house’s gift campaign.
