Two words, each hundreds of years old, that are still worth holding on to: ‘respair’: fresh hope, and ‘resipiscence’: a return to a better frame of mind. Here’s to both in 2023. Happy New Year.

Not looking forward to having to justify that 1st-inning medley of Led Zeppelin's "Your Time Is Gonna Come" into "Under the Sea" from "The Little Mermaid" at my upcoming annual performance review.

White supremacy is a poison running through our body politic. We need to say as clearly and forcefully as we can that the ideology of white supremacy has no place in America. Failure to do so will be complicity. Silence will be complicity. We cannot remain silent.

The people who want to ban books should perhaps read some books, in which they will discover that the people who ban books are never the heroes of the books.

I’m sure @TomBrady was going to mention Patriots fans right after he got to thanking that favorite cat he had as a child, right??

Ok, humankind: you get one more chance. Dogs: carry on. No notes.
This man was forced to give his dog to Humane Society due to lengthy hospital stay. This nurse went to the shelter and adopted his dog. She brings him to visit daily & will return him as soon as the man is released! Be the light in this world, even through the dark times ❤️

As you honor my father today, please remember and honor my mother, as well. She was the architect of the King Legacy and founder of @TheKingCenter, which she founded two months after Daddy was assassinated. Without #CorettaScottKing, there would be no #MLKDay. #MLK

Cultivating compassion is not a religious practice focused on ensuring we go to heaven or a good future life. It’s about living a good day-to-day life here and now. It’s about being a happy person. Warm-heartedness is a fundamental good human quality.

Now, bring us some figgy pudding, and bring it out here! We won’t go until we get some. Dang. I’m not sure a figgy pudding sit-in really = “good tidings”
