Watched Wildwood. The mom sitting next to me pulls out the biggest ipad I’ve ever seen, cranks it up to max brightness, and hands it to her kid. Halfway through the iPad dies. Kid turns to mom, “Can I watch the movie?” The kids are alright but their parents are not

Horror movie revisionism has led people to feel the genre is somehow universally respecable and its just not. There's very little to it and the exceptions are what critics have held otherwise and there's genuine good in keeping regressive trash out of public view

HOW MUCH MORE OF THIS STORY CAN THEY TELL!?!

🚨 There will be a Chapter 7 after Chapter 6, confirmed Zach, the CEO of Mob Entertainment. "Of course there will be a Chapter 7 [...] I think there should be 2 to 3 chapters on the Prototype, he's the main villain of this story."

Finished Castlevania 3 Draculas Curse last night! I’m finally free of the NES trilogy! Definitely the hardest of the trilogy but the gameplay and branching paths was absolutely stellar back in the day! Now on to the masterpiece that is Super Castlevania 4!

DCU is the only universe where a film can have recoup its entire production budget opening weekend...have metrics like a 3.8 on Letterboxd, A- Cinema Score, & a 75/94 split on Rotten Tomatoes and still be called a failure

Charlie explains the “where’s Batman” dilemma really well and I agree. We need Less key jangles and more well told self contained stories.

Yeah I’ve noticed everyone has different preferences on what their favorite Castlevania games are. I still need to go back and play through the older games, but I can already which ones are gonna be at the top for me! Belmonts Curse being one.
r1kGAMES@r1kgamesOct 24
only played the belmonts curse demo but Ive seen opinions about it are pretty divisive But then Ive been seein lots of cv tier rankings in my feed & theyre all over the place. Someone loves a game someone else thinks its the worst. Turns out being divisive is very castlevania

Mercenary Tactician Grenade Pin build is complete. You can absolutely dump more Divines into the build but I kept the budget to about 30Div total. Empowered Arbiter of Divinity for example Build Guide in the reply

Between Double Fine, Bioware, and now Arkane Lyon recently. We need to start talking about why these studios started forgetting how to budget correctly? Why are the publishers refusing to step in? And why are these games taking 5-7 years and are STILL nowhere close to ready?
