Thank you @MinnBaseball for making sure a townball season happened this summer. Also, well done to all the teams in A, B, & C who followed the rules so that all could have a season. Everyone did their part, and nobody ruined things for everyone else. Great work across the board๐
Minnesota's state townball tournament was a big success despite a summer of upheaval and uncertainty for @MinnBaseball caused by the pandemic. @PatrickReusse writes: strib.mn/2R5jowz
A tip of the cap to both @spfdtigers and @MilroyYankees for stepping up in uncertain times. Both communities should be very proud for a well run tournament. Great people and outstanding baseball facilities. Thanks to @MinnBaseball for the belief this could happen.
Congrats to @Fairmontmartins on the title run. Huge thanks to @MinnBaseball for the vision & leadership to make this thing go. Finally to @MilroyYankees, thank you for stepping up when this all went sideways. You guys knocked it out of the park. Letโs do it again sometime.

Thank you @MinnBaseball State board for working endlessly to get townball going this summer. It would not been the same without a season.
Also, thank you for going out on limb and choosing our @MilroyYankees field. I can't express enough gratitude for the opportunity. Peace.
Thatโs a final in Springfield as the @Fairmontmartins are your Class C State Champions. They win it 12-0 over @StPatrickIrish
Congratulations to the Martins
Bottom of the 7th and itโs still a 12-0 lead for Fairmont. The Irish have to score some runs to keep the game going.
