The first part of our training sessions starts out on the turf.
Our athletes work through drills that train all aspects of speed, including acceleration, top-end speed, multidirectional speed, and agility. Every drill has a purpose.

What a morning!
Spooner physical therapists from across the Valley came together today for the OHSO 2 Sole run presented by @SoleSports and @ohsobrewery to support runners before they hit the course and help them recover after they completed their run.
It was a beautiful morning to log some miles, hang with some great people and enjoy one seriously fun running community. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us and congratulations to all the runners and walkers who took on the 5K, 10K and half marathon!
We love being part of the Arizona running community. 💙💛

Most people think physical therapy is mainly for recovering from surgery or an injury. But that’s only part of the story.
From returning to sport and navigating postpartum recovery to cancer rehabilitation, hand therapy, and recovering from a serious accident, physical therapy can help with more than many people realize.
For World PT Day (it's September we're celebrating early!), we’re sharing five real Spooner patient stories that show what’s possible.

Soccer demands a lot from the body. Sprinting, cutting, jumping, and contact all add up.
After an injury, rehab should prepare you to handle those demands again. Christian Verreault, PT, DPT, creates sport-specific plans to help athletes return to competition with confidence.
The offseason is your opportunity to build a foundation for the long season ahead.
Train with purpose, address what your body needs, and work with a coach invested in your development so you can head into spring training prepared, confident, and ready to perform.

Spooner Sports 🤜🤛 Phoenix Rising
Behind the scenes, Spooner physical therapist, Kimberly Wolf-King, and PRFC athletic trainer Rafa Lopez work together to help keep players healthy, support recovery, and prepare them for the demands of every match.
Weekly force plate testing helps us measure how each athlete is producing force, adapting to training, and recovering over time.
By tracking metrics like jump performance, force output, and movement asymmetries, we gain objective data that helps guide programming, monitor progress, and make informed training decisions.
Consistency compounds. Built through the process.
