Funny how often these users of patriotic American iconography so often are of the ESL set. Russia or China are not sending their best.

Oooooh so there's a mysterious "they" that you must dispose of in order to bring about the perfect world that you and James want...
Now that is purest projection.
He literally mentioned that he felt under attack. By people who disagree with him mostly.

This one is too stupid to live.

A Christian nationalist is someone who wants to have a Christian nation.
If you and James need to resort to some other definition of Christian nationalism to score rhetorical points against your perceived enemies (very woke of you!) then you lost the argument long before you even started typing.

This is the typical Woke mindset: unless everyone is on board, we cannot usher in Utopia, and if Utopia hasn't been reached yet, it's because not everyone is on board yet.
Next stop: the Gulags.

This conversation happened with a Brazilian colleague of mine in one of Wall St firms in Midtown NYC. First, it was surprising to hear someone confess to being a communist while working for a firm that is one of the backbones of global financial trades. Secondly, his claim that communism doesn't succeed because capitalists are around was quite terrifying to hear. There is this guy sitting a few desks away from me, and in his mind he dreams of eliminating billions of humans, so his utopia can finally work! He didn't last in the firm anyway.

To support your last sentence: communist apologists (which includes K12 teachers) have been pushing in written publications that the reason communism has failed is because the West exists and keeps interfering with the communist systems.

As soon as you have your communist government instated the black market emerges to satisfy needs the system can't handle. So there are always the scapegoat around.

“But Republicans do the same thing to Democrats on campus, right?”
If they did, the media would speak of little else.

The HR problem is not a joke, it's a real and documented problem.
When I was a younger mustard, I worked in a bank branch with 17 women and 1 other guy who was rarely there.
At first I thought I hit the jackpot. Half of them were good looking and most of them seemed easy going. Looking back, I can't believe how naive I was.
I was constantly shit on for random stuff. I tell people it was like having 17 girlfriends without the benefits. If one was in a bad mood, at least 10 were in a bad mood. They absolutely all started cycling together. The good days were okay but the bad days were miserable.
I was doing accounts which included new accounts and the scary world of sales. We were judged on sold credit cards, savings accounts, etc. I kept hearing my numbers weren't good and out of the small group of us they made it seem like I was the worst. But they never said it.
We had sales training one day and I got singled out for being uncomfortable talking to customers. I'm an introvert but I've never been uncomfortable talking to people. The cool boomer lady that sat beside me actually spoke up and said "really he doesn't seem to have any problems talking to people".
I ended up accidentally seeing all the sales numbers one day and I was at the top for most categories and second or third in all the rest.
This whole shitshow peaked when I got called into a meeting out of the blue. Three female higher ups and one assistant manager chick I truly hated - who I later found out when wanted to go out with me and that's why she was a bitch to me.
They called me in at the end of the day and honestly I had been killing it with sales and filling everything out correctly - which is a massive pain in the ass at a bank. "On page one they sign above the dotted line on page two they sign below the dotted line on page 3 they initial on page 4 you initial and they initial and on page 5 you HAVE to initial the bottom right but on page 6 the initial space stays blank", shit like that. But I hadn't had any problems and my sales were up.
I thought I was getting a raise lmao. They took me in there and said "how do you think you're doing?" I said pretty good and long story short they had gone through my desk on one of my days off and found a form I started filling out but didn't finish. A coworker (female of course) had thrown the customer info on my desk and asked me to do the form. I remember it was at the end of the day and I grabbed a form and started filling it out. I quickly realized it was the wrong form so I put it in my desk and went home.
The meeting was 30 minutes of them harping about how I was clueless and I needed special attention because of this form. They said it caused a massive problem the day before while I was off. I went from expecting a raise to being told I was too retarded for my job. I got an official warning (lmao). I remember telling them exactly what happened - it wasn't my customer, it got thrown on me at the end of the day, and I discarded the form when I realized it was the wrong one - but they just acted like I was too dumb to realize how awful my mistake was.
I think part of it was this was outside of the south and they thought I was retarded because of my southern accent.
So anyway I quit the next day and went to the trades. Bless you if you read all this. It's one of those moments that sticks with me.
