This was actually part of the consideration haha. We had a lot of planet ideas. But we landed on Paper Planet because it covered all the bases AND was feasible scope-wise!!

#CallingAllVillains the paper planet idea was cute, but also PRACTICAL from a production standpoint. all the background characters can literally be copied & pasted, no need for modelling, and move around with minimal animation, so the team could focus on the main characters
