Much of what happens at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica takes place quietly behind the scenes. Today, we are grateful for Flora, who helps care for the Cathedral each day, ensuring it is beautiful and ready for all who visit.
Thank you, Flora, for all that you do.

King of Heaven, make our hearts and lives the villages and cities of your Kingdom on earth. Knock down the walls we have put up to keep you out. Fortify our conviction of your presence among us now, that we may walk on the thin line between earth and heaven, even now. Amen.

🙏 Pope Leo XIV has announced that he will undergo surgery in the coming days.
Speaking after the Angelus, the Holy Father shared a personal health update, revealing that doctors had discovered a small, localized nodule in one of his lungs during recent medical examinations.
The nodule was detected at a very early stage, and doctors have recommended its removal.
“I have decided to undergo surgery to have it removed, following their advice,” the Pope explained, adding that the procedure has already been scheduled for the coming days.
The Holy Father concluded by expressing his gratitude for the spiritual support of the faithful and asking for their prayers.
🙏 Let us keep Pope Leo XIV in our prayers as he prepares for surgery, asking the Lord to guide his medical team and grant him a smooth recovery.
