I attended WTA meetings last week in Trempealeau & Vernon Counties and the Legislative Exchange in Monroe County yesterday! This week I’ll start meeting municipal boards to strengthen intergovernmental relationships to assist our local governments as they serve their communities!
Happy Earth Day! Spent the morning with Jason Guthrie and other Sparta residents cleaning up the Elroy-Sparta State Trail! Looking forward to biking there this summer!
Check out my latest visit with Shirl LaBarre!

Today Cedric Schnitzler announced his candidacy for the 95th Assembly District! He is a farmer and is the chair of the Monroe County board. He will be a strong voice for local government and I look forward to seeing him on the campaign trail!
Amazing day sharing the move from US Senate to the 32nd State Senate race! Milk house in Trempealeau County, Mississippi River bank in La Crosse, Sparta American Legion and Vernon County farm with show cattle. I look forward to earning your vote Western WI!
Working the polls all day! Happy WI Spring Election Day!

Please take a moment of silence for Laken Riley — her funeral is today.
I understand that people are mourning & grieving, but it needs to be said:
Laken Riley was a University of Georgia student murdered by an illegal alien from Venezuela.
Jose Antonio Ibarra did not come here illegally for a better life. If he had, then he would have put his wife first; he would have put his child first.
Instead, he stole one of our daughters. Laken Riley would be alive today if we had a government — a President — that cared about securing the border.
How many more Americans have to die at the hands of an illegal alien? How many more daughters will it take for President Biden to take the crisis at the border seriously?
To Laken, Kate, Nisa, Kayla, & every American life stolen, I’m sorry that we didn’t protect you. I’m sorry that our politicians care so little about our lives, while putting everyone else first.
We have a chance to get some semblance of justice this November. Don’t let today’s grief go in vain.
Thank you to Shirl for having me on your podcast again!

The mental health crisis in our country has persisted for far too long and continues to worsen. I am committed to finding solutions to this issue for the benefit of all individuals impacted, including those on the frontlines providing care.
