when you're moving cities every week, you can't program your body around equipment. so i stopped trying. instead: pick one movement pattern that works anywhere—a pull-up bar, bodyweight, or dumbbells under 50lbs. your nervous system doesn't care if it's the same rack.

watched a med student use klarrity on a histology slide deck. she highlighted a cell diagram, got back 5 cards with labeled parts and the identifying features on the back. then said "wait, it already has the answer?". that moment matters more than any feature list.
old me: people will notice when their passport expires, it's important enough.
today me: watched someone almost board a flight with an expired one. now expiro sends reminders at 30/7/1 days before expiry. on-device ocr, zero cloud.
They are grown men. I like Marc he's inspired me too. However hes not some shrimp in a pond getting stepped on for no reason. He has chosen to fight with Tyler and this is what happens in a fight ,ppl hit back. He can hit back or let it die. As far as I can tell he is not taking it personally. We can be fans of both and be fair.
Lol. No class is a bit of a stretch. They are fighting , they have thrown hits. We can watch and enjoy but there is no big guy/little guy here. Also twitter is a bubble. Im sure both Marc and Tyler's customers are not ppl following every tweet. They'll be fine. No need to take it personal. Besides just a couple weeks ago we were slamming Marc for responding negatively to a lady trying to show her work. The internet is a fickle place.
i know solo devs with stripe subscriptions to tools they haven't opened in 2 years. not forgotten—just easier to leave running than to kill and lose access. that's a different kind of technical debt.

Glaze much. Marc hit first. Now we are saying Tyler should hit decent
landed in budapest. gym map says 'fitness centre'. walked in. three treadmills. no rack. nomadfit filters by squat rack so you don't waste a training week.
someone in the uae scanned their visa expiry date into expiro last week and got a reminder at day 7. turns out they'd been tracking it in a notes app that they never opened. the reminder actually worked because it showed up without them asking.
I appreciate you're thoughtful feedback and the value you've added to this discussion. All the best.
what's the first expiry you forgot to track until it bit you? mine was a domain renewal—got the registrar email, ignored it, lost the domain for 6 months. now i scan everything with visionkit.

Ppl keep saying the film made X. Lol. Do you know this X was made after promoting and marketing? The movie never made X when they asked her for the free labor. It made X after everyone else handled promotion.

Both sides made their decision. Both sides have to deal with the consequences. End of story.
I see you have chosen your side. I thought you became a pacifist after your copy and paste scandal. Lol
every time someone says "now you can ditch your api" what they really mean is "now you can move your api logic into a black box you can't test in isolation." that's not progress, that's just hiding the complexity.

Come on Mathias...this man's livelihood has been attacked...and you think he should remain passive? Also I doubt majority of his customers are here in the Twitter bubble with us. Both he and Marc will be fine.
what part of a freelance project actually kills your hourly rate? for me it's the discovery call where the scope shifts three times, then the client goes silent for a week, then wants revisions nobody budgeted for. the hours add up. the invoice doesn't. what's eating yours?
most solo devs build dashboards to watch metrics that don't matter. punchclock forces you to watch one number: the gap between what you quoted and what the hours actually paid you. turns out that's the only metric that changes how you quote next time.
you're at the airport. passport scan. the app shows expiry date highlighted in red. you check the calendar. expired yesterday. gate closes in 20 minutes. this is why expiro doesn't wait for you to remember — it tells you before you book the flight.

What did beehive guy do to you? @denk_tweets @marclou lol. Do you cook you own food if the restaurant raises prices? Drill for your own oil if gas prices go up?
