Brent crude oil prices are consolidating right below their high of the year as we have seen mixed reports throughout the week as to the possibility of renewed conflict in the Middle East. As long as oil prices remain elevated, global energy inflation will continue to rise.

Meta and Tesla will both report earnings after the US session closes in around 45 minutes. $META recently bounced from a key support while $TSLA is testing a key resistance.

Bitcoin has outperformed gold by +42% over the past 2 months.

This area of short liquidations from $84k-$86k has started to be hit today. A short squeeze like this can help $BTC push higher, but ideally we will also see some more spot demand entering as well to make the move more sustainable.

JPMorgan just predicted that $BTC will outperform all other major asset classes over the next 10 years.

$SPCX is up more than +8% after hours following a very strong earnings report and a statement from Elon that he thinks it would be "a good idea" to merge SpaceX and Tesla.

Unless we see a major surprise from the Fed next week, all eyes will be on Warsh looking for hints as to what the Fed will do at the December FOMC meeting.

SpaceX will report earnings after the US session today. $SPCX recently pulled back -20% after trending up +68% from August into early October. Today's earnings report could determine whether the next move is a deeper correction or a push back towards the local high.

Oil is dropping today and has pulled back -5.5% from its local top so far after trending up for the past 2 weeks.

US spot $BTC ETFs just saw net inflows of +$526.7M to start the week, thanks to massive demand for IBIT. This was the largest day of cumulative inflows since September 22nd.

Bitcoin is still being supported by its 50 day moving average after testing it several times over the past week. $BTC has not closed below this level since this move up began in mid-August.

When coinbase sees heavy $BTC selling (as indicated by the large and steady discount) BTC moves down or chops sideways. When that US-based sell pressure eases, BTC has been able to recover and trend upwards.

Potential short liquidations are building up around $85k for $BTC.

AI stock are bouncing to start the week after last week's selloff, with $DRAM +6% so far today.

The Nasdaq 100 fell -5.5% last week as inflation data came in hot and concerns increased around a potential slowdown in AI demand/growth. US futures markets will open for the week in 20 minutes and we will see if the selloff continues. Prepare for volatility.
