I’ve found this to be true in my own life. I chased success, money, and fame as hard as I knew how. I started and ran a business for nine years. Wrote 12 books hoping to get rich. Fought for promotions at work. But only when I truly came to know God did I find that peace beyond understanding. I no longer live in fear of death or feel driven to prove that I’ve made my mark on the world. I just want more Jesus every day. #Christianity #Bible #Faith #BiblicalEncouragement #TheSearchForGodPodcast

For those who may be interested, here’s how it all started: my painful journey back to God. I explored other religions before returning to Christianity. In this episode, I share the personal story behind that journey. Leaving the link below in case it helps someone find their own way. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

The Republican Party, holding onto Trump for dear life, up until this week’s election. 🤣🤣

This guy is SUCH an egomaniac. At least he's shut up about a third term. I guess it was wishing for too much to expect him to cut down on the corruption and influence peddling...
Nobody expected him to ever stop grifting no matter what happens. It’s in his DNA.

Yep. I'm proudly independent, but it's going to be a while for me, too. They sold out Ukraine, coddled up to Putin, overlooked corruption and cruelty... The list goes on and on. It's been almost 20 years since anyone even pretended to be a "compassionate conservative."

One of the biggest questions coming out of Tuesday's election isn't just what happened to Republicans. It's what happens next. Are we finally seeing Republicans begin to distance themselves from Donald Trump? Or will the party eventually fall back in line, as it has so many times before? I spent some time discussing that question on yesterday's episode of The Stan R. Mitchell Show. I'm curious what you think. Has something fundamentally changed within the Republican Party?

I'm trying to grow the Facebook page for The Stan R. Mitchell Show, and I'd love a little help! If you have a second, would you mind giving the page a like or follow? You don't even have to turn on notifications! I'm just trying to build up the page and reach more people. It's a small thing, but I'd really appreciate the support! Link in next post:

“So you spent $250 million dollars on a senate seat?” “That’s right Dave” “And what happened to that Senate seat?” “We lost by 12, Dave”

David French is throwing haymakers today lol
If a MAGA voter is bewildered today, perhaps he should stop making a meme calling his opponents “fake and gay,” delete the post declaring that Indian Americans worship demons, turn off the podcast that’s shrieking at him that every person who votes Democratic is a heretic, and take a very long and thoughtful look in the mirror. Donald Trump is to blame, but no one — absolutely no one — made you imitate him. nytimes.com/2026/11/05/opini…

Just got this notification on my phone and I want to say this as clearly as I can. No one cares what Susan Collins has to say. She stayed too long, never really stood up to Trump, and just needs to go enjoy her very generous retirement that we will all be funding. Goodbye. Ride off into the sun.

Perhaps Republicans got swept last night because voters are finally exhausted by the arrogance, narcissism, and vulgarity coming from the very top of their party. Trump boasts that Republicans would have won in a landslide had he been on the ballot. Perhaps he should consider that he might be part of the reason they lost. And now @megbasham wants to lecture white evangelicals about failing to be "salt and light" because some didn't vote? Are you kidding me? Since when did faithfulness to Christ become measured by loyalty to the Republican Party? We're expected to excuse Trump's crude remarks about Nicki Minaj's backside, overlook his behavior, applaud his arrogance, and then accept a lecture about Christian faithfulness when Republicans lose? The church is not the Republican Party's political life-support system. Maybe the problem isn't that evangelicals have lost their saltiness. Maybe it's that Republican leaders have lost their credibility.
