Thought I'd do a match report on last night's win for the #CreweAlex U18s. Some real positives and standout performers. Obvious concern is the injuries and the amount of extra games these young lads will be playing in the coming weeks. standingalone77.wixsite.com/…

Makes the game against Wigan in 2 weeks time very simple. A loss inside 90 minutes means they're out. A draw and a shootout loss/win sees them finish 2nd. Win and they finish top, with a home draw in the last 32. #CreweAlex

Deserved win for the U18s. Wilson the obvious stand out and good flashes from Chadwick, Graves and Ewusi. #CreweAlex

Very interesting lineup. 7 of their 18 scholars not in the line up and 6 names I don't recognise in the squad, including one(Worthington) in the starting XI. Looks a very young team, even by U18 standards. #CreweAlex
Here's how the young Reds line-up in the FA Youth Cup against Oldham Athletic Under-18s 👊🔴 #CreweAlex

5 of #CreweAlex's next 6 games in all competitions are at Gresty Road. If they can keep their good early home form going, they can easily be in a great position by the time their Kryptonite month of December arrives.

👏👏👏 Perfect response and the correct one. It's been a good start to the season and it's been one truly horrendous game out of 13. Fingers crossed he knows exactly what he got wrong(it's pretty obvious) and he puts it right next week. #CreweAlex
🗣️ Bell: ‘I got it drastically wrong’ 🔴🔴 Crewe Alexandra manager Lee Bell speaks to @GMcGarrySport following his team's 5-1 defeat away at Chesterfield in League Two... ⤵️ 📲 Click to listen: bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0pjgm… #BBCFootball | #CreweAlex

Not a criticism of him, but Joel Tabiner's heat map is really quite funny. 20 touches and I think 6 were kick offs. #CreweAlex

Chuck the 2nd half in the bin. Don't care, irrelevant. That 1st half is all that matters. An absolute horror show that was totally avoidable. Lee Bell is at his best when he keeps things simple. The most he overthinks things, disaster strikes. Awful. #CreweAlex

Have referees just decided shirt pulling isn't a foul anymore? 2 penalties probably denied today. Getting a bit ridiculous. #CreweAlex

If Lee Bell doesn't front up to this and take the entirety of the blame for this shambles, I'm going to lose all respect for him. This is on him, Dicker and Lunt. Nobody else. Him. He needs to own it at FT. #CreweAlex

When ranking the tactical decisions made by Lee Bell, there have been some real shockers over the 4 years he's been in charge. This ranks as the worst by a long, long distance. There is/was no logic behind it, at all. #CreweAlex

Genius decision to switch to a back 5 after barely playing with it all season. Genius. #CreweAlex

The owners didnt seriously expect them to stay up this season did they? Absolutely ridiculous decision.

In my review of #CreweAlex's first league loss of 26-27, I look at 3 massive referee calls that are all incorrect. I also ponder the passive first half and ask why the midfield trio stayed the same positions that didn't work on Saturday: standingalone77.wixsite.com/…

The all round performance wasn't great, but 3 massive calls have all gone against #CreweAlex tonight. Hard to do anything in those circumstances. Every chance they can go to a stuttering Chesterfield on Saturday and get something.

2 hands out in the top of his back/neck/head. It's a foul. It's always been a foul. Soft? Yes, maybe, but it's still a foul. #CreweAlex
Fair play to the ref, hard to make a living when you’re registered blind #crewealex
