A literal documentary was made about how much Star Wars fans hated the prequels. Your bubble is not reality.
Since Dark is getting a lot of attention Lucasfilm would do well to hire the writers to do a force mystery series. Dark is truly one the best series of all time.
Not surprised, Levy has touted coming under budget is a goal of his and I’m sure a factor into Disney/Lucasfilm fast tracking this movie.
If they actually learn how to market maybe this film makes money. But they don’t market Star Wars anymore so

“Star Wars: Battlefront 3” is actively in development at Electronic Arts, multiple sources confirmed to Variety.

I've never seen a franchise fumble as hard as Lucasfilm has fumbled Star Wars. We had Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher again and they completely squandered it.
Everything has become soulless, corporate slop. Storytelling defined by profit, not from the heart. Star Wars has strayed too far from what George intended.
Jon Watts is set to direct ‘STAR WARS: EPISODE 10’.
The film is intended to be the beginning of a new trilogy in the Skywalker Saga.

I hate seeing the Marcia Lucas saved Star Wars debate again. One side acts like she literally did nothing on the films and the other acts like she single handily saved the entire thing.
