Stargazing WIN! 🔭 The clouds parted for 1st Wythenshawe Cubs! Projected Saturn onto the Baptist Church! 🤯 Hit Saturn 35 times for nearly 30 eager Scouts! Taught them how to use binoculars/scopes. Spotted Satellites & captured Andromeda! Indoor session with real Moon/Mars Rock – at Sale, England

Andromeda 🌌 Taken Tonight here in Wythenshawe using the Amazing 3 year old Smart Telescope. It sits roughly 2.5 million light-years away from Earth. The light seen when looking at Andromeda today left the galaxy when early hominids were just beginning to walk on Earth

If you look at the Moon now you'll eyeball Saturn nearby 🪐

Caught an incredibly bright pass of the International Space Station tonight! 🛰️✨ Want to catch the next one? It looks like a bright white star gliding smoothly across the sky. How to spot it: 📲 Download the ISS Detector app 📍 Set your location & check pass times Head out!

A bit of Fun - Train your eyes time 👀 Can you look at this Picture taken last night at Salford Astronomical Society and tell me where abouts you see a Galaxy? Then post the picture back in the comments below. I will reveal the answer later Good luck

Finally managed to capture the Butterfly Nebula (NGC 6302)! 🦋✨ I had to battle a bright moon all night, so there’s a bit of noise in the final image, but I’m thrilled with how much detail actually came through. The cosmic wings really popped despite the washed-out sky! – at Sale, England
