Injuries are piling up, bye weeks are in full swing and rookies are breaking out.
Here are my FAVORITE Week 8 waiver wire targets:
Running back red zone attempts through 7 weeks:
- Jahmyr Gibbs leads the way with Derrick Henry
- Javonte Williams has been delivering great value
- Kenneth Walker 5th and has already had his bye
- Tony Pollard is 7th
Data from @DynatyzeFF
WR snap leaders through 7 weeks:
- DK Metcalf is basically always on the field.
- Devaughn Vele has had a solid role - TBD if it will continue with Jordyn Tyson returning
- Michael Wilson and Garret Wilson getting big snaps, but not translating into fantasy points
Data from @DynatyzeFF
RB target leaders after 7 weeks:
- Ashton Jeanty leads the way. He has struggled for efficiency, but his receiving work gives him a high weekly floor.
- Kyren Williams has been heavily involved in the passing game.
- Jaylen Warren has been a big surprise.
Data from @DynatyzeFF
RB explosive play leaders through 7 weeks:
1st. James Cook
2nd. Kenneth Walker
3rd. Jaylen Warren
4th. Braelon Allen
5th. Jahmyr GIbbs
Data from @DynatyzeFF
Jahmyr Gibbs is off to a hot start too

Fire sale starting.
Make sure you put a bid on Seth McGowan in case Jonathan Taylor is traded.
Trade: The #Colts are sending eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the #Seahawks, per @AdamSchefter and me.
Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. A Colts legend goes to the champs.

Who left the most on the table in Week 7?
These players fell short of expectations for Fantasy Football…

The RB position is COVETED in fantasy football, but many managers don't know how to look beyond the box score to analyze whether they are actually GOOD or just dependent on junk volume and TDs.
Here's how to look at the position beyond the box score over the last 4 weeks:
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is off to a historic start
Here is where his stats rank over the last 10 years through 7 games
Targets: 5th (78)
Rec: 6th (58)
Yards: 2nd (867)
YPG: 2nd (123.9)
TD: 3rd (8)
Target Share: 2nd (36.3%)
YPRR: 3rd (3.72)
TPRR: 5th (33.5%)
Fantasy Points: 1st
Jacoby Brissett - 27% Rostered
With Purdy, Shough and Stroud on bye, you might need a QB.
You could do worse than Brissett.
No one is attempting more passes than Brissett.
And most importantly, ARI face the Cowboys.
DAL are giving up over 20 PPG to opposing QBs.
