Brock said after the game that he was going to throw it to Cowing but that he (Purdy) decided to throw it away at the last second.
Why he thought throwing a ball away anywhere close to the field was the right way to go, I'll never understand.
Bonehead play by Brock
Jacob Cowing had a freakin' LANE on his reverse. I can't tell if he clips Juice on the way by or just loses his feet, but that should have been a much bigger play.
Are you waiting for the #49ers to get rid of Eddy Pineiro after a 5th straight game with a missed kick?

It is painful to watch a game given away like that. Despite the travel and a short week, the opportunities were there. The 49ers simply failed to capitalize on every single chance given to them today. #49ers

The #49ers have been playing with fire from the start with Eddy Pineiro, and it cost them today. How many more kicks does he have to miss before they move on?
Silver lining?
Only injury from #49ers HC Kyle Shanahan after the game was the thigh issue for RB Christian McCaffrey, who returned to the game.
Shanahan also confirmed that CB Upton Stout (shoulder) was only available in an emergency today.

A lot of things went horribly wrong for the 49ers, but not sacking Michael Penix Jr. (one of the most sackable QBs in the league) once is impressively bad

Turns out Brock Purdy looks pretty average if you just simply injure his entire wide receiver room!

The 49ers didn’t try to throw to a WR in the first half. Then they ran 6 plays in the third quarter. This is what happens
