DK Metcalf so far:
9 targets
5 catches
115 receiving yards
More yards than he had in the first 3 weeks combined.
You have him ranked as the 27th best QB in the league 😂
It’s a nice story but being a rookie HC or not doesn’t matter once you’re here. Continuing to play D’Angelo big minutes when it’s obvious we’re hemorrhaging points when he’s on the court is inexcusable. Let alone by the 3rd of a series / in a must win game.

Nothing but Kenleyfornia Love.
Congratulations @kenleyjansen74 on cementing your place in history with 400 career saves!
A 40-pitch first inning probably the worst possible outcome for Mason Miller tonight. Velo down 4-5 ticks already in the 3rd inning. A’s might be lucky if he survives tonight uninjured.
Public ballots hold the writers’ feet to the fire. Without them you’ll end up with more nonsense like the guy who voted for Iverson over Shaq in 2000 out of spite and the baseball HOF voters who vote for one single player on an entire ballot.
Not to address the pile-on for “that vote” directly, but systematically:
1) I think giving local beat writers votes on national awards puts everybody in a tough position and we have enough national nba coverage to not need it
2) I tweeted this last year but given nature of social media, I think that the only way to avoid group think is to make ballots private.
Broadly speaking: tighten the voter pool, intense quality control on the voters, and make the ballots private so people don’t fear backlash.
