BREAKING - This mother and daughter paid $1,000 per ticket to attend today’s Indiana Fever vs. Atlanta Dream game at State Farm Arena, specifically to see Sophie Cunningham — a woman they respect and admire for taking a clear stance against biological men in women’s sports. They wore XX/XY shirts in support of that same message. The back of the daughter’s shirt simply read “For the girls.”
Arena staff gave them two options: cover the shirts or leave. They were handed shirts to put on over their own.
Earlier in the game, a woman wearing a “Protect Trans Rights” shirt was prominently featured on the Jumbotron. Only after receiving that stadium spotlight was she also told to cover her shirt.
A women’s league run by women decided a shirt saying “For the girls” was too offensive and controversial to wear. Meanwhile, State Farm Arena will put a pro-trans message on the big screen — but won’t allow a shirt that states a basic biological truth.
The WNBA and stadiums like State Farm Arena continue to be a national embarrassment.

My name is Ella, I'm 17 years old.
I do long jump. I play volleyball. I go to school in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
When my school allowed a biological male into the girls' restroom without telling parents —
I went to the school board.
With my name attached.
In my own town.
I got bullied for it. Harassed online. Even some of my own teachers came after me.
I'm still here.
Because here's what I know:
The net in women's volleyball is set nearly a foot lower for a reason.
A biological male can hit a ball across that net at force that could seriously injure a girl.
And in track — all it takes is three biological males entering the girls' category
and not a single girl in this state stands on a podium.
I didn't speak up because it was easy.
I spoke up because somebody had to.
The Supreme Court is about to answer the question every girl in America is asking.
We're ready.

Youth Hockey Coach Arrested for Child Sex Crimes; Detectives Seek Additional Victims
On June 4, 2026, detectives with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested 40-year-old Rory Nathaniel Mushlin following a tip he was engaged in inappropriate behavior with minors.
Mushlin, a resident of Colorado Springs, is being held on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, unlawful electronic sexual communication – person of trust, obscenity, and internet sexual exploitation of a child. He was taken into custody without incident.
Since January 2023, Mushlin served as a local youth hockey coach at South Suburban Sports Complex in Highlands Ranch. Investigators learned the team Mushlin coached also practiced at the Parker Field House and the Family Sports Center in Arapahoe County.
Douglas County detectives have identified multiple underage victims. Because of the suspect's coaching position and regular interaction with youth sports programs, investigators are working to ensure all potential victims are identified and provided with support.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is actively encouraging anyone with information, or parents who believe their child may have had contact with the suspect under concerning circumstances, to reach out to Detective Clay at [email protected].
Mushlin was transported to the Douglas County Detention Facility. A judge set his bond at $75,000.
All charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty in a court of law.
This is still an open and active investigation. No additional information will be released at this time.

OPEN LETTER TO PROTESTER
To the person who showed up outside Park East Synagogue last night chanting to "globalize the intifada" , and saying "de@th to the IDF".
I will not appeal to your moral sensibilities.
I will not tell you this is a synagogue that was home to the most Holocaust survivors in New York, about the children who go through the synagogue door, about the people who find meaning and community within its sacred walls.
You probably knew all that before you showed up, and you still showed up.
It probably felt good and empowering for you to stand there and shout at us.
Here is what I will bring to your attention.
To the Brownshirts who went from being bitterly unemployed to standing with a uniform and a group outside of Jewish stores in Berlin in the 1930s, it probably also felt very good. They went from being lonely economically and socially broken individuals, to a place of belonging and power.
Here's what those Brownshirts enjoyed less.
Just 10 years after they stood outside of those Jewish stores in Berlin, they were freezing and starving for months outside the gates of Stalingrad. Most of them did not make it out alive. They froze or starved to death.
Just 10 years after those rallies in Munich and Nuremberg, they were laying at the feet of British soldiers in the deserts of North Africa.
Antisemitism is a sweet poison pill; it feels good at the moment and the price comes only later.
This kind of chaos, hate, and incility will affect us first, but the consequences for a society that allows such hate, are disintegration the kind of which we have seen in World War II.

The Rabbi inside, Rabbi Arthur Schneier, is 93 years old. He survived the Holocaust. He was a child when Kristallnacht happened, when Nazis and their supporters smashed the windows of synagogues exactly like this one.
