I have some exciting news (at least I'm pretty jazzed about it):
1. I've written a book. It's called Loving the Law. The focus is on the three uses of the Moral Law.
2. It will be released in May 2025 by @Christian_Focus. Many thanks to them.
3. I hope you enjoy it. Here is a summary: christianfocus.com/products/…
1 catechism, 107 Questions and Answers, 30+ guests.
What can you expect from Westminster Wednesdays?

A Pastor Appreciation gift from a dear church member. The words are from Pilgrim’s Progress, Part 2:
“A man there was, tho’ some did count him mad. The more he cast away, the more he had.
He that bestows his goods upon the poor
Shall have as much again and ten times more.”
Just another reminder to me of God’s profound kindness in allowing me to serve as a minister and to such a loving people. SDG
Always a pleasure to read good books and to tell people about em on the Heidelberg
“The church is nothing if it is not centered on the Word. The Word of God is both the origin of the church and its telos, the goal toward which the church strives. The church’s great work is proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. In a new book, Lutheran pastors Harold Senkbeil and Lucas Woodford make this precious truth of the Word’s power and primacy abundantly clear.” –@stephenspin

The “I really benefitted from [insert popular theologian’s name] ministry way back when, but I’m so beyond that now and let me take a 🧵 or two to explain all the reasons I’m right and he’s wrong” tweet format is a bad look. Just do your new thing and leave it at that.
I didn’t discover the Shorter Catechism until my early twenties. As I committed the questions to memory during my seminary studies, I kept asking myself, “Where has this been all my life?” Nothing has shaped me more as a man and a minister than the WSC.
These short episodes will go a long way in deepening your faith and the faith of the next generation. Thank you to the Banner for producing this resource for the church!
Thrilled to share I’ve signed TWO new book contracts with @Christian_Focus!
It’s a joy to write on two precious doctrines: Adoption (Track series) and Assurance (Pocket Guide series).
Grateful for the opportunity and praying these books will serve Christ’s Church well!
Inside you are two Presbys. One like @SEdburg with strong 45/47 vibes, rockin the suit and hat combo. The other, @JoshuaTorrey…
intense day one of official meetings in the books. had a fantastic time talking with students of @CovenantCollege and then got a tour of the tower from @jfhooker3!
