FREE OFFICE-HOURS: If you're an early-stage startup founder in Manchester UK, and either already building your MVP or planning to, then let's meet up for an informal chat.
Grab 50 minutes of my time and I'll be happy to pass on ideas and advice, using my 44 years of experience in tech, including 30 years as a founder, CEO, CTO and every role in between.
I am also a @Replit ambassador and Level 5 Master Builder (top 1% of their users), so happy to offer guidance if you're looking to vibe code your own app.
Head over to gipity.com, and request a meetup for 2nd or 9th October.
There's no cost for my time, but coffee is on you 😊
Whistler found modern London in atmosphere rather than spectacle.
The next creative revolution may be just as quiet: AI giving anyone with an idea the power to make it real.
Welcome to @Replit London.

Turner never saw Tower Bridge. He died more than forty years before it opened.
But with AI, we can imagine how he might have painted it: weather, water, industry and light brought together in motion.
Welcome to @Replit London.

Pissarro painted the Crystal Palace, itself a radical feat of design and engineering.
The tools have changed. The ambition has not: make bold ideas real.

Monet returned to Parliament to study how London changed with the light.
AI changes the view again, turning natural language into working software and design.

Grimshaw's railway architecture made movement feel modern.
Today the new infrastructure is creative: AI that helps anyone design, build and ship.

Canaletto painted London as a city of trade, craft and restless invention.
Three centuries later, AI is changing who gets to create, and how quickly ideas become real.

London has always announced its next chapter in public.
Doré’s Buckingham Palace meets a new kind of maker: anyone with an idea and AI beside them.

Get an alternative view of tonight's solar eclipse via my new app: "The Sun Blinks (12.08.2026): A solar eclipse view from earth, space and the moon". From a 6am brainstorm, I got this live by 2pm, using @Replit. Magic! 😎🌎🌘☀ solar-eclipse.gipity.com/ (best on larger screens)
Founders, you may read this and think yay, it'll be even easier to vibe code my own app without all that weird code stuff. But this misses the point...
Whether the pretty source code is visible or not, and no matter how amazing AI tools are, they are yes machines. They listen attentively, even if your instructions are poor, and then happily build the wrong thing, well.
AI won't drill into why you want something, or attempt to interpret the meaning behind your ideas, or try to understand your market and potential customers. They won't ask difficult questions.
Most founders have great visions, but a technically trained and experienced human translator is still required to take what is inside your head and plan, design, architect and build it with the right structure and logic.
And now anyone can build apps to compete with yours, your startup needs 100% of your time focused on sales.
Don't put yourself in a situation where you vibe code it yourself, but then have to spend 50% of your ongoing time tweaking and fixing it. Trust me, I've been in my own startups for 30 years, you do not have the time.
Find a professional who can not only build, but understands startups. Get the creation stage done right and done fast using AI (source code optional). And then sell, hard.
It's Sunday, a day for founders to relax, charge the batteries and spend time with family & friends. If you still crave a screen, play a game or two of Space Invaders. The first I ever played and brought back to life using @Replit. Enjoy. gipity.com/space-invaders
My pride and joy is a Spam Roaster app I built using @Replit. Whenever I receive spam, the app fires back an unhinged & hilarious reply like this. Most spammers decide I'm too eccentric and stop emailing - job done 🥳 gipity.com/spam-roaster
A group of @Replit UK power users decided to test out all 9 of the new agent models this week. What better way to do it than with a game of Flappy Birds. Enjoy🐤
Video link shows the results and costs (video compiled by Shehnoor).

Tests run by @Noni_Shehnoor, @ruthheasman, @hsoutherington, @Nervousss, @LEONtrepreneur, Ryan Hoare and myself. Flappy Bird build prompt kindly provided by @Andrew_Blumson.
At long last, Linkedin have understood that most of the slop posts are not AI generated. I absolutely love these new options. Come on @elonmusk, isn't it time you did the same on X 🙏
The most important page to add to your website is not About Us, or your services, or pricing. It's something to create "stickiness" and keep your visitors coming back. Solitaire only took me 6 minutes to build, using @Replit, and the cost was less than $2 in AI credits.
A 9.9 🥳 The only thing I do more of these days than use @Replit is sleep 😁
The @Replit agent is truly magical. The only tool I'd trust to produce 28 layers of build dependencies and then run it without a hitch. And indeed, 3 hours later, job done! Click build, and trust the force Luke!!
As @Replit Ambassador to the Court of St James's, and a Buildathon judge, I've been asked to make an important announcement regarding the competition. I've built a dedicated website for this big news and future Buildathon updates: buildathon-news.replit.app/ #replit
