Grateful for legions of alumni and families who are locking arms today to help prepare Whitties to be the leaders and thinkers our communities and the world need. Delighted to join them with my own gifts for The Whitman Fund and W Club. #AllInforWhitman givecampus.com/gjhugs

Inspiring “My American Dream” book conversation with author Barbara Feigin (@whitmancollege ‘59) & @NicolleDWallace. Takeaways: dream big; democracy and freedom are fragile and sacred; blaze a trail of access through education and career. Amazing, thought-provoking story

Rewarding to see the Edwards-Moore Clubhouse open to @gowhitman student-athletes and hear from W Club co-founders Jim & Jock on the enduring friendships and values of @WhitmanSports competition. Thanks to our generous donors in making it all possible! whitman.edu//whitman-stories…

The new competition and training field for @whitmansports lacrosse and soccer is in and looking sharp, thanks to the generosity of alumni. Plan to join us for the dedication of James Hayner Field on October 14 prior to the women's soccer match vs. UPS. Go Blues!

New baseball clubhouse taking shape at Borleske Stadium for @gowhitman and the Sweets. Thanks again to alumni and parents for your gifts to realize this new facility for Whitman student-athletes!

Great to see philanthropy at work for @WhitmanSports with a new soccer, lacrosse field coming this fall and a baseball clubhouse in spring '24. Thanks to the generous alumni, parents, and friends making it happen for our talented student-athletes and coaches. #climbwiththeblues

Fun to send off retiring Whitman trustee and W Club cofounder Jim Moore ‘66 with his #10 jersey. We can’t thank him enough for all he continues to do. Thanks for the assist, @briankitamura & @gowhitman!#climbwiththeblues

A guy in front of me got the foul ball, but I caught some inspiration last night. Struck by the total buy-in of Mariners on the field, in the front office and all throughout. Whitties are making it happen with majority owner John Stanton '77 and VP Comms @Thevly '88. #SeaUsRise

Powerful conversation at Seattle Tech Alliance State of Tech Luncheon with entrepreneur @jonathansposato (Whitman ‘89) and T-Mobile CEO @MikeSievert. Advice to young people: it matters less what you study — put yourself out there, try something new, find your passion and thrive.

Commencement is happening! Congrats to Elena, Aidan and all members of the @whitmancollege class of 2023. Proud of each of you and what you’ll go on to do. Communities and the world need your minds and hearts engaged! Best wishes-

Tebraie Banda-Johns is rocking the welcome and firing up an enthusiastic crowd at the Intercultural Stole Ceremony at Whitman. Proud of our outstanding students!
