BRITISH MAN tried to stop them from assaulting a teenage girl. They MURDERED him. Louis James has been found guilty of murder while Dereck Owusu of manslaughter, following a retrial at Leeds Crown Court. The pair attacked 26-year-old Reece Radford in Sheffield on 29 September 2022 after he intervened to stop Owusu assaulting a 17-year-old girl. James stabbed the victim, who died in hospital six days later. Both men were originally convicted of murder in 2023, but a retrial was ordered following a successful appeal.
