Interesting decision coming up for Iraola because 2 things are true at the same time - Dom was our stand out player last season and deserves credit for that in a very difficult time - Our midfield balance has looked much better while he’s been injured

All jokes aside with Araujo, the reputation & love that he’s getting really is telling. For all we love skill, great goals and silky play, fans still love nothing more than a player who gives his all, will throw his body on the line and looks like really fucking matters to him.

3rd and unbeaten after 7 games. Not a bad start all in all

Lots to like there. Defended well, great tempo, nice balance in the middle some lovely link up and some really good performances. Definitely feels like it’s starting to click now

Just sign him.

Who would have thought that a manager who couldn’t get Middlesbrough out of the Championship, then did half decent because they had 1 game a week and Bruno was on fire, would turn out to be woefully unqualified for the job. Well, me for one. And it’s hilarious

Bit of a silly ending but overall a very fun night and good performance. Great for Barcola to get up and running

Frimpong is fine until he’s asked to do any defending. Bit of an issue for a full back

I know it’s funny because it’s United, but that’s a bullshit red card for Yoro.

People are quick enough to jump on refs errors, but that’s an exceptional advantage for Cov’s third goal

Wirtz situation is a worry. It’s pretty much objectively fair to say that had he been a £30m signing his performances wouldn’t be warranting regular starts. The fee/expectancy almost dictates it. Based on the assumption that at some stage he will transfer his Leverkusen form.

Why did Drury just say that The Kop are ‘accusing’ City of being cheats? Feels like pure gaslighting. THEY’VE BEEN FOUND FUCKING GUILTY!!

Don’t even want to linger on this one. We’re playing an official bunch of cheating bastards, without our three main attackers and last seasons player of the year and we lost out best player on the day to 2 incredibly soft yellows Sooner they are sent to oblivion the better.

2 of the softest fucking yellows you will ever see.

As good as Arajou has been since singing, that silly yellow has left us very vulnerable and seems to have inhibited him in the one on ones against Semenyo. Would consider a switch for Gomez for extra protection.

Also getting pissed off with commentators completely forgetting Ekiteke when they discuss our injury list. Our best attacker last season and still a huge miss for us

Koumas and Munoz working really hard to unsettle them and cause pressure. We need our £100m+ players to then use their quality to take advantage of it. Thats what has been missing, so far…

Nice and tough 10 mile loop round the Moors this morning to keep pre match nerves at bay. So lucky to have this relatively close and should get up to it more often

I like Burnham, and I like plenty of what he’s said since he became PM. But to publicly praise the City owners and say he hopes they don’t get removed is a HUGE misstep. They have systemically frauded the top level of the game for a decade and sought to lie their way out of it.

Baffles me why some still think the PL will go easy on City. The PL has one product to sell & grow. Citys actions mean that their ‘product’ has been compromised and history sullied of nearly half of its 35 seasons. Why would any setup protect the member that has done that?
