Baby Hayes Alexander Haglund joined the world yesterday at 5:14 pm. Checked in at exactly 8 pounds and 22 inches. One of the longest but best days of our lives 💙 Absolutely overwhelmed with joy 🙏🏻
My issue with defending Jim Harbaugh or Joe Hortiz at this point in time is that the Chargers hired this regime to make a legitimate push at a Super Bowl and I would argue they are further away from that goal right now than they were when they first got hired. I just don’t see how this regime can bounce back from such a horrific season.
Could they run it back with parts of the regime and make the playoffs again in 2027 if they hit on the right OC? Sure, theoretically. But this season has too much stink on it where it will absolutely hang over everyone’s heads into the next season in a similar fashion that the Jacksonville loss did into 2023.
The Chargers do not have any capable backup CB’s but if they can actually get a pick for Donte Jackson they absolutely have to make that happen. Even if it’s just a 7th rounder.

The two Chargers players getting the most trade buzz around the league per my sources are EDGE Khalil Mack and RB Kimani Vidal.
Have been able to confirm that the Bears and 49ers have both made serious inquiries about Mack. One of the AFC contenders has expressed interest as well.
Two teams in the NFC East have called about Vidal, who is a sneaky trade candidate as more and more teams deal with injuries at RB.

The October version of me really hates the July version of me that thought planning a jersey day during school spirit week as an excuse to wear Chargers gear to work was a good idea

All over a comment from a college kid calling him corny?
I asked ESPN and Utah for comment about McAfee and the relationship with Utah moving forward.
This was ESPN's response. nytimes.com/athletic/7727393…
