Mom is back home in Texas. Supposed to rain all day, but Mom held the weather off so we could have a beautiful service. 30 minutes later the skies opened up & we got a summer Texas storm with strong wind, a heavy downpour & thunder. Mom’s favorite type of weather! 🙏🏽 #PromiseKept

SOMETHING SOMETHING OBAMA SOMETHING CHEESECAKE FACTORY
Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there. It's not a good place if you're price conscious."

With Reps winning early in person by under 200 votes statewide in NV today, chances are Dems win every day of early in person going forward.

What a weird post. If you've never heard about Cassavetes, it's because you don't know much about movies. Which is fine, but it's strange to act like it's some mystery.
OK, I'll bite. If John Cassavetes is so insanely influential and brilliant, why have I not heard about him until recently? I've been on a side-quest with classic and esoteric movies, mostly through the Criterion collection. I've watched dozens of Criterion closet picks from filmmakers and actors I admire. They pick Cassavetes films ALL THE TIME. Probably more than any other director except Scorsese. I haven't seen a single Cassavetes film. I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk about a Cassavetes film outside of those videos. I'm not a slouch on film, I've got a pretty wide spread on what I've seen & what I appreciate. How has Cassavetes slipped through that net so completely for so long?

Once Democrats take Congress, they need to do Watergate-style trials for the amount of election interference Meta has done
🚨 BREAKING: Meta has suspended Angie Nixon's organizing account ahead of the midterms. Nixon is the Democratic nominee for US Senate in Florida.

The guru of the Silver State, @RalstonReports, talks often about the "Clark Firewall". As Dr. Samuelsen has catalogued so capably, that firewall this year may well be as high as it has been since 2008, when Dems wrecked shop in Nevada.
Early in-person, Clark County, NV (SoS) 10/27/2026 - 7:05 pm PT Dem 7,274 (40.5%) Rep 6,004 (33.4%) Other 4,696 (26.1%) Total 17,974 Dem +7.1% (2024 Rep +9.1) (2022 Rep +15.5) Still a few votes out there, but another record weekday for Dems. D+16 vs 2024, D+23 vs 2022

Essayli is like that crazy lady who made the news a few weeks ago for posing as a substitute teacher and making a chaotic mess of things.
The Guardian: Federal judge disqualifies Trump-appointed prosecutor for "unlawfully serving" in role Bill Essayli, a former GOP lawmaker and ally of president, has not been confirmed by the Senate in his role theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

The final GOP lead in IPEV in Nevada (waiting for final count) looks like it will be quite a bit below 200 votes. Meanwhile, Democrats have gained, on the margin, over 4000 votes in mail ballots. Overall, looking like a Democratic ballot edge of at least 28,000 by end of day.
Um...wow. Nevada GOP had a solid lead in the IPEV today as of 4 PM (R+1005). At 6, that margin was cut in half. R's have now only won in-person today by 563 votes. That number has gone down by 300+ votes in the past hour. And, of course, D's are crushing R's in mail vote.

I've been to Pride Night at Disneyland, and Trump rallies have oddly, and quite off-puttingly, become MORE gay to observe.
Ken Paxton seemingly professes his love to Trump in a weirdly flirtatious speech: "So he said something to me as we were arriving in, in, in Lubbock. He said, you know, I don't usually do 2 rallies for anybody, but he said, 'I must really like you.' Mr. President, I really like you too."

Much easier for the media to lock in on faux Cheesecake Factory outrage than a House Dem report indicating Todd Blanche basically told Ghislaine Maxwell "stop talking" when she was about to discuss a girl that could more closely tie Trump to Epstein

Ask yourself: have you gotten wealthier? Most Americans would say no. Brilliant closing message.
Trump: "We've never created so much wealth as we have in the last year and a half. Trillions of dollars."

Seliger is not some moderate who ran as a Republican forty years ago or something. He is staunchly conservative, a former state senator and the former mayor of deep-red Amarillo, and served as recently as (checks notes) 2023!
Seliger endorses Talarico in Amarillo. #txlege

So there is at least one immigrant who fears for his safety in his home country who the Trump administration will let in. xitter.cf/SimonLevyMx/status/211…
As I reported hours ago, Flávio Bolsonaro has arrived safely in United States. The mastermind behind this operation is U.S. Secretary of State @SecRubio . From the United States, free and safe, Flávio will lead the opposition against Lula.
