My father is financially well settled. Our family owns one hotel , one restaurant and land worth crores along the highway. We are financially comfortable and money is not an issue for us.

When NE states decided to stay with the union, they did so under certain conditions. Protection of their indigenous culture and population were one of them.
The day ILP is removed is from NE states, you risk so much dissent that it could spiral into actual civil war. It’ll be seen as infringing upon the agreements their ancestors made to stay with the republic.
All this dam and development project controversies is nothing compared to removing the special status these states have.
