Cold and rain but still a good trip to @PGAShow in Orlando, where I first met @StitchGolf founder Charlie Burgwyn and have followed the meteoric rise of Burgwyn and the partners he took on 2018 into a leader in head covers, bags, travel and apparel. That M/L shirt? None better.

Don’t “pull down on a chain” to try to create lag, most players who do this end up excessively hinging (radial deviating) the wrists on the down swing.
When this occurs the lead wrist also typically cups (extends). As a result the club gets steep and open, with a very narrow shaft to forearm angle. Many times players lean back to lower the club, stall out, and flip resulting in reverse shaft lean; the exact opposite of what was intended.
Instead, stay wide and lower the arms. This helps the club shallow, keeps the wrists positions neutral, and doesn’t force you to compensate with your pivot and wrist angles. Now that the club is lower you can rotate rather than lean back which will help keep those hands in front. 👌🏼
