As we recover from the pandemic, supporting our local businesses is critical. That’s why the @CityofBoston created the B-Local app, a points-based initiative that offers rewards for shopping locally.

Sappy post alert! We couldn't let the whole day go by without a special shoutout to our partners (and friends) @newurbanmechs and @DoITBoston. These teams never shy away from a creative idea or hard work if it can make a difference. #B_local wouldn't be here without them!

We must protect the right to organize for all workers because everyone deserves to be protected, respected, and paid fairly. Throughout his life, @SecMartyWalsh has fought for the working people of Boston and as Secretary of Labor, he'll continue that fight for all Americans.

.@MartyJWalsh knows that a good job is a pathway to prosperity, so job creation was a top priority at City Hall. Together, we brought 140,000 new jobs to Boston while investing millions of dollars in job training so that everyone would benefit from economic growth.

We supported @CWKitchenBoston and others with grants to help them survive through the pandemic and provided technical assistance to help them build back better. As Mayor, I will always invest in our small businesses. bostonglobe.com/2021/03/21/b…

In 2014, when @MartyJWalsh became Mayor, the US was starting to reach astronomical levels of drug-related deaths. The City of Boston’s substance use services were the least funded in the Health Commission. Mayor @marty_walsh quickly changed that... (1/6)
#ThanksMarty for always believing in us, pushing us, and leading us. You’re a true public servant and the City of Boston is better because of you... and so am I. @POTUS and @VP are the luckiest.

My mother and father immigrated from Cabo Verde in West Africa. They found community in Boston, and instilled in me the values of hard work and giving back. I’m running for Mayor to honor them and all working people in Boston.
