Low level air defence - highly dangerous sport - or in modern speak high octane high adrenaline- we had pretty strict rules about bank angles and nose below the horizon - never really scared myself at low altitude I think the adrenaline kept me safe
Tapered thread on the sump plug (i spent 3 years doing hydraulic plant fitting / repair) this probably was fitted when the sump was still hot and as it cooled down the contraction caused it to crack ! Always let a bike with a tapered thread sump plug fully cool before refitting !
