Thank you @openhouselondon for over a week of opening up London to us. I've traversed so much of the city & seen so many buildings, streets & environments I've never seen. It was another fabulous week +. And lovely to spot your striking poster at my local station in Northfields.

My final visit for today & this year's #OpenHouseLondon was to Neave Brown's lovely concrete chunk of family home & flats on Winscombe Street, N19. A privilege to see a warm, bright, cleverly designed flat. #OpenHouse2024 #OpenHouseFestival

My second visit for #OpenHouseLondon today was to bright blue & white modernist icon, Kensal House. Designed by Maxwell Fry with Elizabeth Denby, it's Grade II listed but in need of sound barriers and modernisation to keep out mould & damp. #OpenHouse2024 #OpenHouseFestival

My first #OpenHouseLondon visit today was a Muslim history of the City tour. Thanks to Abdulmaalik for a new and refreshing perspective on local history. 👏🏽 @Muslimhistours #OpenHouse2024 #OpenHouseFestival

My real #OpenHouseLondon visit today was to the magnificent art deco behemoth that is @NAOorguk on Buckingham Palace Road but was Imperial Airways office when built. Fabulous tour and history. #OpenHouseFestival #OpenHouse2024

Unofficial first Open House visit today: to the final weekend of #TropicalModernism at the V&A. I was pushing it! But it was relatively compact. Beautiful photos of realised buildings in Accra, Ghana & Chandigarh, India as well as architectural drawings. Video at the end was fab!

Spent this Open House afternoon with Croydon's famous @Grindrod on a 'Polaroids of Croydon' modern & modernist social history & architecture tour. Absolutely loved it - humour & lots of personal tales brought this city to life. #OpenHouseLondon #OpenHouse2024 #OpenHouseFestival

Huge congrats to @BrixtonAdvice for opening up for the #OpenHouseFestival for the first time. The displays, books, photos, commentary were so lovingly put together and detailed. You could see how important this centre is. Wonderful to start today. #OpenHouseLondon #OpenHouse2024

My last visit of the day was an extensive tour of the freshly renamed @LondonArchives in Ckerkenwell. Great info and history, bright 1930s building and I loved the smell of the archives! #OpenHouseLondon #OpenHouse2024 #OpenHouseFestival
