New tune. About youth, love, and adventure. What else is there? I dig the percussion.

The Who. They're the soundtrack of my youth. I even wrote a novel that was published a couple years ago that's an imagining of what happened to the guitar Pete Townshend tossed into the crowd at the end of The Who's set at Woodstock.

Ben Gibbard and Mt. Joy (separately) at Thalia Hall in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. It's a beautifully restored old building that holds about 800 people. It has great acoustics, too.
Great tune. Great style and fun with the bass and singing on this cover. Rock on.

A new tune. Kind of a weird one, but sometimes weird is the only way to go.

Dropping off copies of my novel at Little Libraries in my hood. Speaking of which, if you're looking for a last-minute Father's Day gift, consider "Talking 'Bout My Generation" (Eckhartz Press).
