If @ManfredWeber tries to keep Fidesz in @EPP or recommends a suspension, he will become hostage to any new abuses by Orbán. He needs to show leadership & determination to defend democratic values. These are basic qualifications for the role of commission president he aspires to.

We heard Mr. Orbán cleaned house near the airport ahead of @ManfredWeber’s arrival in Budapest...but he and his fellow @EPP members have a right to know what CEU students think about their “red lines.”
