Here is an index of some of my Twitter threads:
1. Historical authenticity in the combat of Zodiac Legion: Why and how we want to make Zodiac Legion the most realistic tactical RPG when it comes to medieval combat.

In @ZodiacLegion , our goal is to make combat as authentic as possible.
Heavy armor made single combat very different, but what about group combat?
I'm glad you asked, because our latest Steam update covers this very topic:

I'll be checking #SteamNextFest, so I'll have some early thoughts here as well!
Starting with an #indiegame I'm in love with since last year and even had an interview with its dev. The updated demo is now publicly available!

AI should not be used solely to carpet bomb steam with slop.
Here is what I asked claude, from the video bug report of one player:
download the YT video, slice it into frames between 4:35 and 4:38, identify the knight on the video, and track its movements issues:

The time has finally come for the Zodiac Legion to step out of the shadows!
Lead an arcane chivalric order through turn-based dungeon raids across a dynamic mini-campaign in our #SteamNextFest demo (Oct 19-26).
A great success indeed!
Losing 5 guys (including 1 freshly liberated prisoner) to recover 2 was totally worth it, because no one left behind and all.
But I'll just pay the ransom next time...

The enemies of the Zodiac Legion are not a monolithic force, but a loose alliance of different subfactions, each with their own specialization and troopers.

This is it! #Archrebel's standalone demo is releasing tomorrow. It's game heavily inspired by the classics: REBELSTAR and LASERSQUAD games, developed by Julian Gollop.

I think it is even more true for games:
Getting things right is still long and difficult even with Opus 5.5.
It still needs to be firmly guided so I doubt anyone could easily get the game he is imagining at zero effort.
saw a good comment on “software is dead”
technically anyone can 3d print anything they want. they can either get a printer themselves or just print stuff online
in reality, buying mass produced products is both cheaper and better quality. people couldn’t care less about making everyday products “personal”
vibe coding is the new 3d printer
The AI dev issue seems pretty divisive, which I find weird. It is a powerful tool, and even if you don't want it to write the game code, you can do a lot with it.
Here is what I did with it (outside of the game itself):
It can now also hack into map files directly (merge the Western third of map A, and the Eastern third of map B, into a narrower map), or recolour icons to make selected variants.
But the real gamechanger has been AI running the game(using the game AI) and parsing the logs.
