We’re watching a managed teardown of a monetary system that can’t be fixed anymore. Most of the noise is just political theater, and what looks like chaos on the surface is pretty much how the transition gets worked out behind the scenes. Happy Sunday.

Self-custody, programmable payroll and payments are combining into one workflow. @Zebec_HQ is integrating @C8Wallet to bring all three to institutions on Canton.
Zebec is integrating the C8 Enterprise Wallet by @Cantor8 into our product suite. @C8Wallet is a self-custody wallet built for institutions: → Multi-asset management → High-throughput transfers → Fully configurable workflows Combined with Zebec’s programmable payroll and payments, institutions of any size can move funds on @CantonNetwork, while keeping full control of their assets. This sets us up for the highest grade of adoption across the Canton ecosystem. More soon.

DeepL in Köln. Black Forest Labs in Freiburg. Was ist denn hier los?

Peter Thiel va plus loin : "competition is for losers".

Wer will es ihnen übelnehmen? Wie sagt man so schön: Hate the system, not the player.

THE XRP STORY JUST CHANGED For years, the XRP conversation centered on one extraordinary capability: Move value. Fast. Globally. That was only the first act. Ripple President Monica Long has now disclosed that Ripple is running credit-related pilots targeting activation in 2027, connecting payments, credit, the XRP Ledger and lending infrastructure. The significance is enormous: XRP is advancing from an asset that can MOVE liquidity to an asset that can SECURE liquidity. Those are fundamentally different economic functions. A bridge asset moves through a transaction. A collateral asset is held, committed and put to productive economic use. That distinction changes the conversation. Ripple’s vision connects payment companies needing short-term liquidity with 24/7 digital collateral and real-time borrowing. Meanwhile, the XRP Ledger has been building the machinery underneath institutional credit markets. XLS-65 creates single-asset vault infrastructure. XLS-66 creates native fixed-term lending infrastructure with pooled capital, on-ledger loan accounting and off-ledger institutional underwriting. XRPL documentation is explicit: modern financial markets require more than tokenizing and transferring assets. They require credit. Lending. Collateral. Liquidity. Now put the timing together. The four-year SEC war is over. The court rejected the proposition that XRP itself is inherently a security. Programmatic XRP sales were not securities transactions. Ripple’s direct institutional sales under written contracts were treated differently under securities law. Both appeals were dismissed in 2025. That legal distinction matters enormously as XRP moves deeper into institutional finance. Then comes 2026. Regulated stablecoins. Tokenized real-world assets. Institutional custody. 24/7 settlement. XRPL compliance infrastructure. Native lending architecture. Ripple Payments. RLUSD. Ripple Prime. Ripple Treasury. And now: CREDIT. This is where the architecture becomes visible. Payments move value. Stablecoins represent cash. Tokenization represents assets. Custody safeguards assets. Credit mobilizes capital. Collateral secures credit. And a global digital financial system requires all of them to communicate at machine speed. That is the larger XRP proposition. Stop thinking only: “How many XRP does a payment consume?” Start thinking: How much XRP must be held, committed, reserved or otherwise economically employed when global institutions use digital assets to obtain liquidity around the clock? Velocity made XRP useful. Productive capital makes scarcity relevant. The greatest potential XRP use case was never simply sending an XRP from Point A to Point B. It is an XRP that can move value when movement is required — and secure value when capital is required. One asset. One global ledger. Payments + Liquidity + Credit + Collateral. Money moves economies. Credit builds economies. Collateral makes credit possible. Ripple spent years building the rails. XRPL spent years proving settlement. The law finally separated the asset from the transaction surrounding it. Now the architecture is moving into credit. 2027 is not simply another product-launch year. It marks the beginning of the next question in XRP’s history: Not merely, “How fast can value move?” But: “How much global value can XRP help secure?” That is a much bigger question. And potentially a much bigger world. @MonicaLongSF @bgarlinghouse @Ripple @XRPLF @Interledger @SecScottBessent @judyshel

🧵 Before Interstellar joined @veloprotocol, the @StellarOrg connections were already there. Jed McCaleb. Mike Kennedy. Signum Capital. HashKey Capital. And one of Asia’s most powerful business families. Follow the breadcrumbs and an interesting story emerges about how Stellar infrastructure was being positioned across Southeast Asia. And it started earlier than you might think. 👇 Let’s start with Signum Capital. Singapore-based @Signum_Capital, led by John Ng Pangilinan, became part of an early Asian blockchain investment network. In 2018, Signum invested in Rate3, a tokenization project built around Ethereum + Stellar. Signum’s role went beyond capital, helping projects connect with investors, advisors and strategic partners. Remember that role: Connector. Around the same period, another Stellar connection was forming in Southeast Asia. @veloprotocol emerged from the @CPGroup_Live ecosystem, with Chatchaval Jiaravanon, a member of the family behind Thailand’s CP Group, at its center. Velo was built around Stellar. And Velo later explained that @JedMcCaleb had been helping since the project began. He became an advisor. So the Stellar connection existed before Interstellar joined Velo. Chatchaval’s ambitions extended beyond Velo. He also became Chairman of @lightnetgroup, building cross-border payment infrastructure across Asia. Lightnet was powered by Stellar technology. Its advisors included: Jed McCaleb David Mazières John Ng Pangilinan 👀 Stellar’s co-founder and Chief Scientist, alongside the man behind Signum Capital. Then, in 2020, Lightnet raised $31.2M. Investors included: HashKey Capital Signum Capital UOB Venture Management Seven Bank Hanwha Lightnet said the funding would strengthen its investment in the underlying Stellar technology and expand its financial network. The pieces were converging. Now enter Mike Kennedy. Before crypto, Kennedy was an EVP at Wells Fargo and built clearXchange, the bank-owned P2P payments network that later became part of Zelle. In 2017, Kennedy says he was introduced to Jed McCaleb. After numerous conversations with Jed, he joined SDF’s advisory board. Then in 2019: Kennedy became CEO of Interstellar. Interstellar itself had been formed in 2018, when Lightyear and Chain combined to build financial infrastructure around Stellar. By late 2019, Kennedy says Interstellar was already working with Velo. The fit was clear: Interstellar brought Stellar expertise. Velo brought an established Southeast Asian partnership network. Then came 2021. Interstellar and Velo joined forces. Kennedy became Velo CEO. James Wu became CTO. @JedMcCaleb called it a: “significant step for the Stellar ecosystem” with potential for more Stellar anchors and on/off-ramps in Asia. This wasn’t presented as Stellar leaving the picture. It was an expansion of it. Later in 2021, Velo, TEMPO Payments and Bitazza launched a remittance corridor connecting 27 EU countries with Thailand. Velo Tokens and Digital Credits were used, with transactions settled on Stellar. Zoom out: @StellarOrg technology + U.S. payments expertise + Southeast Asian financial networks. Follow the timeline: 2018 Interstellar is formed Signum → Rate3 → Stellar Velo emerges from the CP ecosystem Jed → Velo from its early days 2020 Lightnet → Stellar Jed + Mazières + John Ng → advisors Signum + HashKey → investors 2021 Interstellar + Velo Kennedy → Velo CEO Jed → more Stellar anchors + Asian on/off-ramps None tells the whole story alone. Together, they show how early Stellar-linked payment infrastructure was taking shape across Southeast Asia. Just follow the breadcrumbs.

🔥 INSIGHT: Humans may not be the main players in markets by 2030. Real Vision co-founder @RaoulGMI told @itsciaranlyons that AI has already beaten humans on anything under a one to three month time horizon for a long time, thanks to high-frequency trading. Longer, more complex bets are still the human edge for now, but he doesn't expect that to last much longer, as he explained on #TRADESECRETS.
