Luke I say the two things can and are true. He’s been left short, this is a playoff team at best. But also being managed horrendously. That Watford tam is horrendous. And what he has got should be doing more than that agaisnt them

Would he have called someone English an English scammer? Absolutely not. He is using the stereotype that Nigerians are more likely to be fraudsters… literally the definition of racism! 🤣😂

I at no stage mentioned colour? You get racism isn’t about colour… 😂🤣😂🤣 Fuck me, no point talking to someone that thick!

Worth looking at this mate. Same every week. I’ve given him a chance. It he’s a really really really really poor coach

The context is that he’s calling her a spammer… so felt the need to add Nigerian (really not required unless you see it as relevant) because it plays in to a stereotype based on her ethnicity (that Nigerians are fraudsters)… it’s as plain a case of racism as you can see!

Interesting. I would personally not move our best player out of position to accommodate anyone else in this squad. JRB far better suited to being out there, even if it’s not his best position. If he’d just beat someone ONCE and then cross it he could be very good there

No, describing someone by their nationality, when required & not done to be derogatory is obviously absolutely fine and no one is arguing that. You’d have to be pretty thick to think otherwise. However when used exactly to lean in to a negative stereotype, and that alone = racist

When the 2 are put together and you are leaning in to negative stereotypes by mentioning the Nigerian bit when it simply wasn’t required unless the reason is to do so… then it’s racist mate. It’s not complicated

He’s quite clearly out of his depth. We play with 1 in midfield. Players out of position all over the place. We were very very lucky that Watford were one of the worst teams I’ve seen down the Mol in years. Both things can and are true in this case mate

But he’s been playing on the wing. When he bought him in… where did he bring him on? So saying there was no one else to play there isn’t right is it? Mate I hate Fosun, they need to go. We should be protesting. And ultimately they are responsible for the appointment… BUT

Rude? That's the same as racist is it?

Why did he use it then if it wasn't adding to the point by pointing to a racist stereotype? It is racist, whether you 'reject' anything you like. It is racist, anyone pretending not is either not very bright or a racist themselves and think it's ok to use that stereotype
7
Why did he need to use the word Nigerian then??? Look if you want to defend it, defend it, but it's racist, clear as day! At least have to conviction to be openly racist rather than do it in this way
