Since SUMMONER is pretty new, we often show a lot of old work to potential clients, which we are getting pretty tired of. So, with an art and concept assist from @WildBlueStudios, we made a fake game called BLOOD GOD to show off our process and just do some fun stuff.
There’s a longform post about it here, which goes into the whole project. It’s all totally WIP, but we like where it’s headed.
Long live the Blood God.

“After years of planning and learning as much as I could about starting an agency, I quit my dream career to start Summoner with my partners."
@MatthewManarino shares the “why” behind Summoner:
open.substack.com/pub/summon…
We believe an agency that lives and breathes gaming – even as much as developers themselves – can create marketing that speaks to players authentically and do much more than simply launch key art and trailers (although we do love some key art and trailers). 3/4
So we created that agency.
Think of us as a one-stop creative shop. We're here to bring together strategy, creative, and design to launch the next wave of modern games.
