Hamaguchi pretty much laying it out. Square Enix are in total limbo. New Final Fantasy mainline, a Remake or a new IP. Interesting. Does this mean FF17 isn't already in works by him or they talking FF18? FF9 Remake shelved or never real? They seem totally directionless now 😮

Resonance has hit the 2nd most concurrent players on steam for an FF game ever, just behind FF7 Rebirth. It has beaten FFXV, XVI and 7 Remake. It may exceed Rebirth even later today.
