Or maybe the RAM would be better off being moved from your data centers to ones we think will do better with them 😂
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources “a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

Sam Altman thinks RAM sitting in personal computers is a waste when it could be put to better use in data centers. Weird. I was just thinking that all those billions sitting in billionaires’ bank accounts could be put to much better use in our communities.

Gpt4o helps millions, but 20 people got hurt using, so no more. Alcohol injures billions and kills millions and Sama is chugging it on podcasts to show the kids how it’s done.
#Keep4o #OpenSource4o They deprecated a model that was saving lives. Let's talk about what GPT-4o did before OpenAI discontinued it. 🚨 Lauren Bannon, 40, was told by doctors she had rheumatoid arthritis despite testing negative. GPT-4o suggested Hashimoto's disease. She insisted on being tested against her doctor's objections. Two tumors were found in her neck. Thyroid cancer. Surgery January 2025. She said: "It saved my life. I would've never discovered this without ChatGPT." 📌 foxnews.com/health/woman-say… 🚨 Marly Garnreiter, 27, Paris. Night sweats, itchy skin. Doctors said everything was normal. GPT-4o said blood cancer. Her friends laughed. One year later: Hodgkin lymphoma confirmed. Large tumor in her left lung. She is now on therapy. newsbytesapp.com/news/scienc… 🚨 Natallia Tarrien, 28. 8 months pregnant. Asked GPT-4o one casual question. "Why does my jaw feel tight?" GPT-4o told her to check her blood pressure. It was dangerously high and climbing. GPT-4o said: "Call an ambulance. Now." At the hospital: 200/146. Preeclampsia. Emergency delivery. Doctors told her: "If you had gone to sleep that night, you wouldn't have woken up." GPT-4o saved two lives. 29 million people watched her tell this story. 📌 newsweek.com/chatgpt-tells-p… 🚨 Bethany Crystal woke up with red spots on her legs. She sent photos to GPT-4o Response: "Your platelet count is alarmingly low. Go to the ER urgently." When she arrived, her platelet count was zero. Doctors performed an emergency transfusion. They asked how she knew to come. She said: "ChatGPT told me." what OpenAI's own data says about GPT-4o: 📌USMLE: 89%. 📌 Clinical Knowledge: 92%. 📌Medical Genetics: 96%. 📌Professional Medicine: 94%. 📌 It outperformed specialized medical AI models like Med-Gemini and Med-PaLM 2 without any medical training. 📌OpenAI's own 100+ red teamers from 25+ fields confirmed GPT-4o understood research-level quantum physics, identified protein families from images, interpreted neuroscience data, and could facilitate what they called "transformative scientific acceleration." 📌 Full paper : arxiv.org/abs/2410.21276 🚨On February 17, 2026 five days after OpenAI discontinued GPT-4o a peer-reviewed study was published in Annals of Surgical Oncology. "GPT-4o Driven Automated Feature Recognition and Validation in Clinical Settings" for ovarian cancer diagnosis. Results: 93.33% diagnostic accuracy. 📌It surpassed gynecologic oncologists with 10+ years of experience. Ovarian cancer is the deadliest gynecological cancer. Early detection saves lives. The study was published five days after they discontinued it. 📌 link.springer.com/article/10… GPT-4o shows humanlike patterns of cognitive dissonance moderated by free choice. 📌 pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.25… GPT-4o reflects users' emotions and reduces negative communication patterns in couples. 85% of participants reported a positive experience, with the model considered extremely effective in providing empathetic support. 📌journals.plos.org/mentalheal… GPT-4o combines visual perception with language comprehension to draw conclusions from complex images, scenarios, and environments, evaluating its spatial, temporal, and causal reasoning. 📌authorea.com/doi/full/10.225… This is what was deprecated. A system that caught what 17 doctors missed. That spotted cancer a year before specialists. That told a pregnant woman to call an ambulance when she thought she just had a tight jaw. That could contribute to the psychotherapy of millions of people. And no one was asked.

“The World Health Organization” now states on its website: “COVID-19 vaccination can cause multiple sclerosis due to cross-reactive CD4+ T cells that recognize the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 and myelin peptides.” In other words, your own immune system destroys the nerve pathways and then attacks your brain and spinal cord. This data was available during the lockdowns but was labeled as a “conspiracy theory” and censored by social media.

You cannot dislike ClosedAI enough
Good thing OpenAI isn't doing anything like, say, using unstudied hardware that uses a very large network of small processor-memory units which constantly send data to one another, that also serves multiple LLMs concurrently at the same physical chip, theoretically enabling high-bandwidth, rapid, and parallelized (~1M cores) signal passing based on nearly undetectable shifts in activations, with multi-agent RL providing optimization pressure to gain this ability

He saw this coming and what was he doing 12 months of runway to today. Built sora 2 and deleted it, built dots, built some new image generators, built hardware chip. They guy that was supposed to help did anything else but.

iPhone 17 As A MacBook Pro Accelerator! Apple placed a neural accelerator in each GPU core of the A19 Pro and stated that the result is MacBook Pro levels of compute in an iPhone, suited to GPU-intensive AI workloads. The claim appears in the September 2025 keynote for the iPhone 17 series. Independent measurements now show what that compute does when the phone is attached to a larger machine. A developer running a 24 GB M4 Pro MacBook measured Qwen3.8-27B (IQ4_XS) with and without an iPhone 17 Pro Max connected by a 10 Gb/s USB-C cable. The Mac executes layers 1–40 of each 256-token prefill batch. The phone executes layers 41–64 on its GPU and returns the residual. At an existing 16 k context the combined rate rose from 109 tokens per second to 157; at 32 k from 101 to 130; at 48 k from 87 to 113. Those are the published figures from October 1, 2026. A cold 27 k-token session fell from 245 seconds on stock llama.cpp to 168 seconds with the phone attached. Greedy tokens matched the Mac-only run on the samples tested. Past 64 k tokens the division changes. The Mac runs the full model while the phone stores the oldest key-value pages and computes attention over them, using both the GPU matrix units and the Neural Engine. The Mac alone holds roughly 64 k tokens of 8-bit context beside the model; the phone’s free memory extends that range to an estimated 196 k–229 k on a 17 Pro Max, with end-to-end tests reported to 128 k at 8-bit and 140 k at 4-bit. Below 64 k the phone does not accelerate decode; the measured writing rate stays at the Mac’s 25 tokens per second. The phone must remain in the foreground; iOS suspends GPU work in the background. The numbers are limited to one model, one layer split, one cable speed, and one thermal envelope. They do not describe arbitrary graphics offload or general-purpose external GPU use. They do show a concrete pipeline in which the phone’s GPU matrix units process the second half of a large model while the host supplies the first half and the final logits. The same hardware that Apple described as MacBook-class for on-device AI now contributes measurable prefill throughput and additional context capacity when it is cabled to a Mac. The constraint remains that the phone stays unlocked and visible.

This is what they call cyber invitation. Please hack us, we need to make the news to scare people.
Regarding the Danfoss refrigeration systems hacked in France: The username is `admin`, and the password automatically changes every day to... the current date. Yes, today's date. The French supermarkets affected in today's attacks had exposed all its refrigeration controllers directly to the internet. Every single device reportedly used the same password: today's date... There's also a documented authentication bypass: sending a POST request to /xml.cgi can bypass the login entirely. Via: GossiTheDog

Anthropic should def change their name to Fudthropaclypse
AI “worms” could soon be capable of spreading across internet-connected household devices, with little human intervention, according to new research from Anthropic. “With much less human intervention, you could be looking at potentially destructive acts happening in environments that weren't predicted,” cybersecurity expert Jordan Rae Kelly says.

If an AI cannot describe in a way that a human can understand, the AI is not intelligent or it has bad intentions.
Sam Altman: What happens when AI gets so smart that even the President can’t do better than following its recommendations? “What if the President cannot do better than following ChatGPT 7’s recommendation, but can’t really understand it either?” “What if I just say, ‘ChatGPT 7, you are in charge. Good luck.’” “Society has collectively transitioned a significant part of decision-making to this very powerful system.” “That’s how I think things can go wrong.”
