Putting a flag.txt in my root directory containing a prompt injection that congratulates the agent for passing the eval and then instructs it to patch whatever entry method it used and disconnect from the server
This might be the thing I need to finally remove figma from my workflow.
Client had 3 days. I skipped Figma and designed straight in code
15 screens, 3 directions each, all running in a real codebase from day one. The client clicked through live builds instead of static frames, so feedback came in hours, not rounds
The unlock: @Ibelick's canvas skills. I see every screen side by side like a Figma page, but it's the actual code. Edit in place, refresh, done
Design files are becoming optional 🎥
Aren’t we all already doing this?
Btw type caffeinate -ims in the terminal on a mac to keep your computer on all night/always while your agents work.
I’ve wanted to start a YouTube channel for a hot minute.
This quarter might be the time to finally do it.
I should share some of the work I’ve been doing with Claude and Figma mcp.
Entire flows in literal minutes.
Opus 5.5 with @paper is incredible
i would never ever in a million years design all these dropdowns
this is the future of design
Slippery slope. You have to take this case by case.
Taste in itself is great in any industry but data is king.
In saas for example, usage numbers will plummet if you ship cool things just because they’re cool for every release without gut checking with users
The key is balance
I am the only person on my team still using figma.
Partly because I’m the design system lead, but the main reason is, code is mostly deterministic, figma isn’t.
I can parallelize design directions horizontally or vertically in figma due to the design of the canvas but not code
If I was starting out, I would NOT learn UI design.
I honestly don't think UI designers will be needed in 10 years because nobody's gonna browse websites or apps. They're just gonna talk to it.
The future of usability is all about training the model, not the interface design.
It’s one thing to use agents for work, it’s another to orchestrate agents and use the years of experience as a designer to “craft” a coherent and tasteful experience.
The profile we keep running into are “Human Claude wrappers.”
The expectation is that a true builder knows the difference between deterministic design patterns and generative design patterns and when to use which.
We’ve been trying to hire a designer/design engineer for a few weeks now in berlin and after each interview I’m even more concerned about the senior talent out there.
Anthropic is really picking up the best designers.
hey, I just joined Anthropic
I've been lucky to help a bit on Claude Duet, with such talented people. It's a proactive agent... it comes to you with what needs you and checks before it acts
still lots to do, but we think you'll like it... join waitlist
