Let's take our society to a Type 1 Civilization in the Kardashev scale.

I’m Manuel Rendon, founder of Timeplast and String Cubed. I’ve spent more than a decade working on programmable materials, I’m named on 8 granted U.S. patents, and Nestlé Waters invested in my first company. Now I’m trying something unusual. I made one video specifically for @elonmusk about what I believe could be an early technological ancestor of the Star Trek replicator. I’m not asking anyone to believe me. Watch it. Judge it. If you finish it and think Elon should see it, help move it one person closer. ElonWatchThis.com

Every month in the Singular Calendar has 28 days and starts on a Monday. The 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd are always Mondays. The 17th is always a Wednesday. Learn one grid and you know every month. A calendar proposed for the proposed Singular City.

Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, June 2023. The facade is so dense that the light decides what you see. Leica M11 Monochrom, Summilux 50.

In the calendar I proposed, March is month 1. That makes September the 7th month again, October the 8th, November the 9th and December the 10th, so the names match their Latin numbers once more. The 13th month, Emmanuelle, closes the year.

Shape a string of material in 3D and you can make almost anything. That idea is where String Cubed starts. The biggest project on that path is the proposed Singular City, a real-life MMORPG: arrive at Level 0, level up through real quests. elonwatchthis.com/stage4

Day 1 of the calendar I proposed falls on the March equinox. In 2028 that's 02:17 UTC on Monday, March 20. In New York it's still Sunday, March 19, at 10:17 PM ET. Even a calendar built on the Sun needs a time zone footnote.

The calendar I proposed, in short: 13 months of 28 days, each starting on a Monday. 13 x 28 is 364, so one Year End Day outside any week closes the gap to 365, with a second one in leap years. Your birthday lands on the same weekday every year.

@grok can you please elaborate on the seriousness of this video, the person behind it, and the scientific paper proposed?

If logic without empathy is cruel and empathy without logic is crazy, where’s the optimal middle ground?

Consider how difficult it is to change yourself, and now consider how foolish it is to believe that we should “change society” before we change ourselves. Michael Jackson said it better; I’m starting with the man in the mirror.

Man, being right too early feels exactly like being wrong.

If you compose your shot in your mind before you press the shutter, then the best camera is the one that stays out of your way; like a Leica M.

One builds vision. The other builds a hard drive full of maybes.

Same with photography. Some chase the decisive moment. Others hold the shutter for 3 seconds and “decide” later in Lightroom.

It’s like Everest: A real alpinist wants to climb it. The tourist wants a helicopter to drop them on the summit and call it achievement.

But if you depend on the camera to think for you, then yes, you’ll need all the AI, autofocus, and algorithmic hand-holding you can get.

It is so freeing to love something more than you love yourself.

Hi @elonmusk - I’m building a “Mars on Earth” project you might love. Not asking for money, only your lateral brainpower. Think of it as Earth’s backup civilization; a Type 1 insurance policy for humanity.
