This August proved to be a very special month, what with Literaria happening twice!
Day 1 of Literaria @SkvTimarpur saw some power packed sessions from the Author Under the Kahani Tree, @MrigankaDadwal. In her session 'Boys don't cry, Girls don't fly?', she spoke about gender stereotypes and how we must transgress them.
In another session, children created beautiful limericks with her.
The kind of day that makes the teacher in me deeply thankful!

Storytelling is the oldest form of education and did our storytelling session come alive with puppets!
Day 1 of Literaria saw children not just watching a puppet show but creating their own puppets in a workshop with former Mentor Teacher Ms. Surinder Kaur.

Today I took DTC bus no. 849 from Hari Nagar Clock tower, Del-64 and was almost thrown off balance. The driver was driving very rash. On being told that old people and school children are also in the bus, and I received a laughing comment, Car mein chala karo.
