Well… only if they know how to open properly or if the organizer knows not to start a party at 130 BPM with full-on energy. Unless you’re doing halftime (and most aren’t), that’s not a warmup. That’s poor pacing.
This was a fun time in China, back in 2018-19. Can't remember. But I do remember throwing these tow sounds together on the fly. I usually play with a plan that turns into no plan and just play according to the mood of the room.
