This polo came with a batch of Steve Marlet’s old Fulham gear I picked up.
Player-issued, with Betfair embroidered on the collar and sleeves. The polo was in great shape, but the Adidas stripes were falling apart.
Would you have restored it too? ⚪️⚫️

This is the shirt that got me thinking about making a few more. I’ve put the next four designs in a thread, including the bits I’m still deciding on.
I like B7 with BD1 on the white shirt. If you’d pair a different front and number, tell me which codes you’d put together. And if there’s a detail from an old Fulham shirt you’d like me to try, I’d love to hear it before I get the press out.

The restoration is in the video below 👇

Here’s a closer look at the damage.
The polo itself was in great condition, so I replaced the cracked stripes on both sleeves and left the original crest and Betfair embroidery untouched.
Very happy with how this one turned out. ⚪️⚫️

You can demand better and still get behind your team.
Some of the criticism of Arbeloa was fair. He seems to have listened and made changes, both on the pitch and in how he connects with the fans. That matters at Fulham, and it deserves credit.
I grew up in Argentina, where there’s pride in filling the stands and backing your team through the bad times. Being frustrated doesn’t mean you stop supporting.
Getting so attached to an opinion that you almost need the manager to fail defeats the whole point. Fulham doing well has to matter more than being proved right.
Up the Fulham.

Sometimes, it can be quite exhausting to read just pure negative comments. Emery is arguably the best manager in the Premier League, and Fulham were 100% the better side in large parts of that second half. That’s down to Arbeloa’s style and tactics. It was incredibly refreshing.
Yes, it’s not perfect, yes we haven’t taken big chances, but as Arbeloa said, he would be more worried if we weren’t creating those chances in games. But we are, because we have good, talented and technical players in key areas. A new manager, it’ll always take time to get to the levels he’d want, but to be almost the laughing stock of the league after three games, to looking fairly solid whilst still having that attacking threat is to be commended.
Two points won at Anfield and Villa Park, where last season under Silva, we folded like a deck of cards. I’m seeing more positives than negatives with Arbeloa. Up the Fulham. #FFC

All the individual ratings after last night’s point. Any scary ones?

A POINT EARNED
I’ll take a point at Villa Park, honestly. Seven points from the last nine after the start we had is something to be happy about.
What I like is that we went behind and came back into the game. Robinson and Bobb helped us create chances, and credit to Arbeloa and the players for that second-half reaction.
We got a bit lucky with the goal and McGinn’s penalty, of course. But Suzuki had already made some big saves. For me, we did enough to deserve the point.
The defending for Jackson’s goal still worries me. He got through far too easily, and Villa could have won it late on. We still need to tighten things up.
And Gonzalo… I like the lad and want him to do well, but we need more goals from our number nine. He wasn’t the only one missing chances either.
We’re creating enough to give ourselves a chance. I’d just like us to make life a bit easier by putting a few more away.
