Being online all day clicking buttons and "trenching" isn't healthy, and it's not how you're supposed to be making money in crypto.
It's what became popular because Pumpfun normalized it, but also because WE as traders kept rewarding that behavior.
WE need to take responsibility for letting this happen, and STOP rewarding it.
I think memecoins have become a perfect reflection of what's wrong with society today:
Everyone has the attention span of a goldfish. You need to get rich fast, get ripped fast, become successful fast and get everything you want without putting in years of work.
Nobody wants to spend months researching opportunities or building something anymore. They want to buy a coin, SLIME their friends and make a 10X before lunch.
People even look up to some skinny nerd "trencher" spending 16 hours a day gambling on lowcaps instead of actual traders and investors who spent years developing their skills and building wealth.
And the funniest part is that most of these trenchers aren't even making money. They're just addicted to the possibility of making it.
There's money to be made trading memecoins, but you don't need to gamble every waking hour like they make you believe.
People seem to misunderstand one thing about the Pumpfun allegations.
Designing a platform to be addictive, encouraging people to trade more and maximizing revenue from trading fees is not illegal.
Casinos, social media platforms and mobile games have used these psychological mechanics for years.
What would be illegal is fraud or market manipulation. Good luck proving that.
As much as you people love complaining about how horrible the market is, you have to realize this has been the best bear market we’ve ever experienced.
We barely dumped compared to previous cycles, and despite the markets being difficult there have still been opportunities to make good money.
I believe we’ll continue chopping around until after summer 2027. That’s when I expect the next real bull run to begin.
And stop listening to these KOLs and influencers telling you we’re going to pump to new ATHs before the end of this year 🤣
ALL of them are just engagement farming, getting paid by CEXs, Market Makers or trying to make you FOMO into their coins.
If you’ve managed to survive and make money in these conditions, imagine how easy trading will feel when the real bullrun comes.
Just make sure you survive long enough to experience it.
Have you noticed how common wallet drains have become since 2024?
What changed? We all started using trading terminals, Telegram bots and importing our private keys into third-party platforms.
Before that most people were trading directly through Phantom or Solflare, with maybe a couple SOL sitting in Trojan.
Trading wallets should be treated as disposable. Keep only what you need for trading and store the majority of your funds in a completely separate wallet that has never been imported into a terminal or bot.
I found out who drained me for 80k
It was @BloomTrading
Someone please HELP me get in contact with all exchanges 🙏
I started trading memecoins fulltime around late 2023/early 2024, and one thing I've learned is that the biggest opportunities usually come when the majority of people have already lost interest.
Right now everyone is complaining about how boring the market is, how nothing is moving and how difficult it's become to make money.
But I believe this is EXACTLY the time you should be researching and slowly positioning yourself for the next cycle, whether you're a trader looking for opportunities or a dev preparing to launch high quality projects.
Look at what happened with SOL, DOGE, SHIB and later PEPE, BONK and WIF. Some of the biggest winners weren't the people trading every day, but those who recognized opportunities early and had the patience to hold.
I still believe we could be chopping around these ranges until after summer 2027, with 2028 being the peak, or at least the first peak, of the next bull run.
This is why I'm spending more time researching real tech, AI, RWA, tokenization and projects that could become important over the next few years.
The next bull run will come eventually. The difficult part is making sure you still have your money when it does.
What if we all stopped using Pumpfun for just 7 days?
Imagine the millions they’d lose in revenue and how quickly they’d have to start listening to their users.
We keep blaming launchpads, KOLs and devs for ruining the trenches, yet we’re the ones giving them our money.
It’s all in our hands as traders. If we stopped supporting the things we complain about, they’d be forced to adapt.
It’s a free market. We decide where the liquidity goes.
There should be a trading competition lasting 6 months with a 1M USD prize for the winner.
The rules are simple: You're only allowed to trade perps, spot and highcap memecoins above 100M MC.
The winner is determined by the highest % return on their portfolio, not how much money they make in dollars.
NONE of the KOLs we have today would even participate, and if they did, I doubt many would make it into the top 100.
Would be interesting to see how many of these so called professional traders and 'bagworking hero' KOLs you people look up to are actually profitable when they can't create their own opportunities.
The biggest killers of this cycle have been launchpads and trading terminals.
Think about how their business models work. They charge you a fee every time you trade, then give you a fraction of that money back and call it "rewards"
And somehow they've convinced people they're actually earning money from trading.
Do you realize how stupid that sounds? You're paying $100 in fees, getting $10 back and celebrating like you've made $10.
Meanwhile these platforms earn money whether you win or lose. The more you trade, the more they make, so of course they want you constantly buying, selling and chasing the next launch.
We've basically turned the trenches into a casino where the house takes a cut of every bet and gives you a few free spins to keep you playing.
I'm not saying these platforms shouldn't earn money, but let's stop pretending that getting a fraction of your own fees back is some kind of income.
Yes memecoins are supposed to be risky, but what we're seeing right now isn't just a risky market like gambling at a casino where you at least know the odds are against you.
We're seeing organized groups of insiders, KOLs and bundlers working together to create opportunities where they have every advantage and you're the one providing their exit liquidity.
They control the supply, the narrative, the timing of the callouts and have multiple wallets ready to sell into the volume they create.
Meanwhile regular traders think they're participating in a free market where everyone has the same opportunity.
There's a huge difference between taking a risk on a speculative asset and unknowingly playing against a group that has already decided how they're going to extract money from you.
And the worst part is that traders keep rewarding this behavior by buying the same launches from the same groups/people over and over.
The trenches will continue being a slaughterhouse for the next few weeks until we get some new narrative that brings real attention and liquidity back.
I've noticed that some of the best traders I know have been completely inactive these past couple of weeks. And that's one of the reasons they're rich. They know when to trade and when to take a break.
Of course we'll still see a few random shitcoins get pushed to 5–20M by insiders and KOLs, just enough to convince everyone that the market is back and keep people gambling.
But look at how few actual/real traders are making money compared to how many are getting farmed every single day.
Personally I'd rather continue sitting on my hands and protecting the money I've made than give it all back trying to catch the next runner.
There's no point forcing trades in a market where every opportunity seems designed to extract money from you.
Sometimes the best trade is simply not trading.
Good luck out there.
One of the biggest problems with memecoins right now is that we've removed almost every incentive for devs to actually build something longterm.
When creator fees were the meta, we had devs spending weeks or months building communities, doing buybacks, marketing and trying to push their coins into the millions.
Why? Because the bigger the coin became and the more volume it attracted, the more money they could earn from fees.
Now the entire market is just launch, bundle, farm, dump and repeat. Of course the extractors would keep doing this with or without creator fees. Those people were never interested in building anything to begin with.
But now we've also removed the ONE thing that gave legitimate devs a reason to keep working on their coins. Why spend 6 months building a community when you can launch 10 coins a day, extract money from traders and move on to the next one?
We keep complaining that nobody wants to build the next runner, but we've made it more rewarding to launch and abandon coins than to actually build something.
The market has been difficult for over 1 now with less opportunities each month.
To be honest I think it's been difficult ever since the beginning of 2025.
One thing I like about this though is that we've gotten to see the true faces of so many KOLs and other people in this space.
So many of these KOLs we all thought were legit guys turned out to be nothing but paid actors, bundlers and professional "community coin" farmers.
The same people who spent years talking about community, loyalty and building something together were dumping on the every person who trusted them.
And the funniest part is that some of them still pretend to be on your side while getting paid to promote whatever shitcoin they're told to push next or whatever they hold their huge bundle on.
It's easy to look like a genius when everything is pumping and your followers are buying your bags. It's a different story when the market gets difficult and you can no longer hide behind the free volume coming in.
For those of you who have survived and somehow managed to make good money in these conditions, I believe you'll really enjoy how easy trading will feel once the real bullrun comes.
If you can make money in a market like this, imagine what you can do when opportunities are everywhere again.
Just make sure you survive until then and don't give back everything you've worked for.
Quitters never win, and winners never quit.
Saw this headline and wanted to ape because it seemed like an obvious runner.
Just one question, which one am I supposed to buy?
The obvious choice would be the OG, but apparently it's spelled wrong?
Okay, then surely the one with the highest market cap? Except there are 3 of them sitting around the same range, so which one is actually going to survive?
Wait, they all have slightly different names and tickers? And some offer cashback, others have holder rewards...
Bro I just wanted to buy a fucking meme.
Yeah, normies ain't coming back.
🚨🇫🇷 BREAKING:
France has confirmed the world’s FIRST known human infection with the Shamonda virus...
The patient has died.
It was previously believed to only affect animals.
First identified in Nigeria in the 1960s, it spreads through tiny biting insects called midges and has been circulating among European livestock throughout 2026.
Now it has jumped to a human for the first time in recorded history...
French authorities say there is currently no evidence of widespread human transmission and no identified risk to the general population.
For now.

Swede will probably be getting active again in 2-3 weeks once he's done chilling and preparing for the next season.
I believe the market will get very good soon, so I'm cleaning up Cope Cabal and opening up 5-10 new spots.
As always I don't really care how good of a trader you are. I believe that's something you can learn and become better at.
What matters most to me is that you're a genuine and honest person, because that's something you can't really teach.
If you're interested in joining let me know.
Ansem did it the loud and aggressive Paris way, making sure everyone knew what was going on.
Kimchi went the silent Kim Jong Un route and won't even publicly endorse the token.
Starting to understand how China became a superpower.
Nobody is getting paid to fud Pumpfun btw, people are just tired of how the trenches have become.
But instead of constantly complaining, why don't we start using other launchpads?
A great alternative is @MeteoraAG
You don't even need to provide your own liquidity if you use their Dynamic Bonding Curve (DBC), which works similarly to Pumpfun but gives you much more control over your launch.
For example you can:
- Customize your starting MC and graduation threshold.
- Set trading fees, even higher at launch to discourage snipers, then gradually lower them.
- Configure fees to be collected in SOL, USDC or another supported paired asset.
- Customize how liquidity is distributed after graduation.
You could launch with a 2-4% trading fee, so real devs can earn money without constantly selling their own supply. Part of the fees could even be distributed to longterm holders.
Of course, higher fees won't solve everything, but at least we have alternatives where we can experiment with different models.
If everyone thinks Pumpfun is so horrible, why do we keep launching and trading there? It's a free market and nobody is forcing us to use Pumpfun.
Maybe it's time we start supporting the alternatives instead of constantly complaining about the same problems.
You know an industry is cooked when feminine-looking male influencers and women start taking over the timeline.
I’ve seen the same pattern happen in so many other industries.
The funny thing is that these influencers don’t even make their money from the actual business they’re supposed to be involved in. In this case, trading and memecoin trenching.
Instead you see them constantly promoting themselves, exchanges, referral links, paid partnerships and literally anything else they can monetize.
Anything but making money from actually trading and finding good opportunities.
At some point the industry becomes less about being good at what you do and more about how well you can market yourself to people who are still trying to make it.
And that’s when you know the real business has shifted from trading the market to selling something to the traders.
I can guarantee you that if we went back to letting real devs and deployers earn fees or taxes, we’d instantly heal a huge part of the trenches.
If you disagree you probably don’t understand how much damage even 1-3% of constant selling can do to liquidity and charts, or the butterfly effect it has on the entire market.
Give devs a reason to keep building and pushing their projects instead of bundling, dumping and moving on to the next launch.
Then as always, it’s up to “us” traders to stop falling for KOL hype and buying obvious trash.
Fix this @Pumpfun and I guarantee we could have a much healthier market within 4 weeks.
(And don’t worry, you can keep milking us just as much as you do now)
If I’m wrong, I’ll do whatever the first comment tells me to do.
Replying to @Chairman_DN
This is exactly why we should let real devs and deployers earn trading fees or taxes.
If a dev earns 2-3% in fees/taxes, he has a reason to keep pushing his project for as long as possible.
He doesn’t even need to sell his own supply because dumping the chart could end up costing him more in future fees than what he makes from selling.
At the same time, he can use that revenue to pay for development, marketing and everything else needed to keep the project growing. And everyone can see exactly how much he’s earning from fees.
The problem started when we moved toward cashback and all this other bs, where there’s less incentive for a dev to keep working on a project long term.
Instead devs are incentivized to bundle their own launches and sell their supply to make money.
That destroys the chart, makes the coin less attractive to new buyers and eventually pushes the dev to launch another project and repeat the same thing.
I’d much rather have a dev earning transparent fees for months or years than one who has to dump on his own community to get paid.
We should reward devs for keeping projects alive, not for launching the next one.
