It was an emotional moment to be present when Navi Pillay, former ICC judge and tireless champion of justice, was informed that she had won the #NobelPeacePrize. Wholehearted congratulations! As she said: This is a strong signal for accountability and against sanctioning the ICC.

Switzerland notes with concern the latest measures against ICC officials. We reaffirm our strong support for the Court’s independence and for its essential contribution to the fight against impunity.
After a robust disciplinary process, the ASP ICC has exercised its responsibilities under the Rome Statute. The decision protects the proper functioning of the Court, the effective continuation of its mandate and its credibility. Switzerland reaffirms its commitment to the ICC.
