I just saw this stat....
Women are responsible for 64% of charitable giving.
I wish we could push some of that charitable giving into INVESTING!

The most successful businesses are those that understand their customers the most.
The only way to do that? Talk to them - and do it often.
The more you listen and talk to your customers, the more you'll understand and serve them better.

Met an early stage founder who has a $12-15m enterprise contract about to close. Only raised angel money and she won’t need VC now. Just one big deal can make a B2B startup! ✨✨

Coupled with great product execution, it will set you apart from competitors and help to attract investors.

Black and Hispanic employees receive racially stereotyped job performance feedback, a @textio study has found.
They are also more likely to receive low-quality, unactionable feedback, contributing to low employee retention.

Raising TEN rounds of capital is never the path to good returns.
While LPs love their GPs to be in hype rounds alongside VCs they consider the smartest, the best companies are often those that never need to raise past Series B, C or D.
I applaud the companies in my portfolio that make my returns look (artificially) way lower than the GPs who exclusively do hype, all the while growing quite fast in a capital efficient manner. ✨❤️

Today I attended a startup’s ‘board meeting’ in London but the thing is, this startup doesn’t have an official BOD. Instead, they invite a rotating group of current and potential investors, mentors and super-fans to attend these quarterly meetings where they discuss strategy and receive feedback.
Super unique and refreshing format for early stage founders, I’m totally into it 🙌🏼
