Today is my last day working at the kennel. To celebrate, here's a thread of every single dog I can remember the name of, in no particular order: Tucker, to start.

"But but but family members abuse kids sometimes! That's why we should educate them about consent!" No. Abuse by a family member is not bad because it's nonconsensual; it's bad because it's a betrayal of the trust that's *supposed to be there*.
Here's a clue for you: when you deliberately eliminate important context in order to insinuate things about your critics (in this case, using the term "forcing" to euphemise the act of a grandparent hugging their grandchildren), you are actually displaying a dangerous indifference to the specific social and interpersonal character of these interactions, implicitly stripping away the very distinction between stranger and family member in the first place that defines an important boundary between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour

I love how fed up Pyrite is with his nonsense here The answer to my previous question was... less than 1 day, by the way. Obsidian took 8 hours to oversqueak the squeaker.

"He warned people about a collapsing bridge is what he did! He was a brave West Virginian cryptid! And in this house, Mothman is a hero. End of story!โ€
Now that Bigfoot has been proven to be fake we can dedicate our efforts into finding a real cryptid like Mothman

Sin, Temptation, and Sympathy for Jadis Near the end of The Magician's Nephew (the BOOK), Aslan takes Digory and Polly to the Wood between the Worlds for a warning before they go home. He shows them a grassy hollow in the ground, where the pool that led to Charn used to be.
(I am definitely going to post a big long thing about all this stuff tomorrow! Hold me to that!)

The Small Catechism: The Ten Commandments The Second Commandment You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain. What does this mean? Answer: We should fear and love God so that we may not curse, swear, use witchcraft, lie, or deceive by His name, but call upon it in every trouble, pray, praise, and give thanks.

It makes me so happy how much Pyrite loves the old boys Fenn and Loki even though they're grumpy and don't like him back
