Fix Hammersmith Bridge so people can get over it and shop in Oxford Street. Also get to work, hospitals and school. The local economy’s fallen off a cliff.

Talk of an early election was crackers a few weeks ago but now I can totally see the arguments. Burnham’s properly broken through now and Tories are broadly equal with Reform and no threat - on a good day only back to rout levels with increasingly silly contributions from ex-PMs/ChXs on Brexit/the ECHR really not helping. Clearly we know now his focus is Brexit reversal and it would therefore be wiser to get ahead of any Le Pen nightmare and have an early election, lock in a solid mandate for a referendum while we still have sane/ supportive friends in Paris and deal with her convicted criminal self later if applicable. No question Labour would win an election on the offer of a referendum but having offered it early it needs to come with an early election or voters will get irritated. I disagree with a lot of Labour’s agenda and am allergic to devolution but offer me a referendum and we’re good to go, I’ll lend my vote, country first! But I’m not waiting and wasting 2 years, get on with it.

Leave Oxford Street alone and fix Hammersmith Bridge. Extraordinarily wrong priorities.

It looks dead.

The utter shame. Both of them.

I think there is and if he’s serious about Europe we can’t waste years in stasis.

Jesus wept.

Always supported the doctors. Not supporting that. Consultants are well paid and they’ve been making a fortune covering for striking juniors. You cannot have consultants going on strike and surgeries being cancelled and the one in my life will not be. End of.

Don’t think it’s the answer and will ruin beautiful little surrounding streets. Selfridges and John Lewis will always be the anchor department stores but the loss of iconic Big Topshop was enormous. I used to walk down Oxford Street every day for years because my son was at school locally and can’t say the traffic was ever off-putting.

Is this a joke?
